I’m thrilled to announce that 269 Chatham Rd. is under new ownership by a lovely young couple, Emma and Josh of Dogs In The Office!! They will continue to offer grooming by the amazing and talented groomers who currently operate there, and have some exciting new plans in store for the salon as well!
The support from our dog-loving community is second to none, I hope you all check them out and drop them a line of encouragement!

It has been brought to my attention that there is some confusion around Ungerdogs and the salon at 269 Chatham rd and whether it is closed or not.
The answer is a little complicated, so I will try to explain as best I can.

Ungerdogs as you all knew it has dissolved.
Four of my former groomers;
Beth DiGuilio(Circadia Grooming), Angeleka Talavera (Scouts Honor Grooming), Samantha Virgin (Doggie Delights) and Allyssa Raneo (Crafting Canines) are currently working independently in our shared space.
I am also there on a very limited schedule until the building sells. My hope is that someone purchases the building and keeps it running as a grooming salon, allowing the amazing ladies that currently work there the opportunity to stay.

I have attempted to change this Facebook business page name to reflect the new Grooming Collaborative that has started on premises, however that has proven unsuccessful, so I post here on occasion to keep people engaged, keep a community presence, and share updates as needed.

To my incredible clients,

It’s with a full and grateful heart that I must let you all know that after over 17 years of hard work, priceless memories, and moments that have brought me to my knees in this business, I have decided to retire from my position as salon owner, to pursue other dreams.

Ungerdogs has been a labor of love. It has been an absolute honor to serve you all and have you entrust your beloved pets in our care over the years.
I made it my mission to create a grooming shop that would not only represent the art of our industry, but also to embrace a team that values the same passion and care that I believe should come second to nothing in our field. I believe I have accomplished what I set out to do. I have had the honor of working alongside some incredible, talented women who have helped me grow Ungerdogs into the salon it is today. Some have moved on to pursue other opportunities or open their own businesses, of whom I’m so very grateful to have been a part of their story, and so proud they’re a part of mine.

My personal business, Ungerdogs, will be closing September 1st, and all appointments from that date on will be canceled.

We all want to work together to ensure none of our clients have a lapse in service. My family and I are excited as we embark on new adventures, however no matter where we end up, Cape Cod will always be home, and a piece of our hearts will forever be with this amazing community.
