Hello everyone who is following this page, I am one of the admins, and the owner of the company Dogpalace Dogtraining LLC in Harwinton CT. This page is dedicated to dogs who has emotional/physical special needs as the dogs move on in life we change who the page is helping.

Meet Bailey and Cosmo, Bailey is famous for his stunt of jumping in the Hudson and running the whole way to NJ from Brooklyn.
Bailey is born a very fearful and anxious dog, Red Hook Dog Rescue has committed to him and his long term rehab. This page will have updates about his life and progress. If you wish to support Bailey in his progress please donate to Red Hook Dog Rescue who I am working with in this case.

Cosmo belonged to a client of mine, he was freshly adopted, he loves dogs but has been abused by people so he bit two people. The owner wished to return him as she had issues handling him, the rescue said to euthanize him. I adored Cosmo so I took him on as my own, and Bailey took to Cosmo instantly so Cosmo has become Baileys Emotional Support dog. Cosmo was older than the rescue told his adopter, he seems to be in pain sometimes with his hips, he has exercise induced diarrhea and will p*e in fear when you clip a leash on him.

But Cosmo is amazing with dogs, and Bailey took a shine to him. Now we joke that they are brothers, and they seem to think so. This page will be dedicated to their progress and training.

This odd couple are becoming best buds, we have now built a big pen which is almost done, Thank you to Maureen and Cliff Jones with Cliff Jones Construction company in CT for donating a big portion of the cost of the construction of this pen. Thank you to US Fence company in Brooklyn for giving us the fence at cost and a bunch of parts for free. Last but not least, Thank you to Ron Fennick with Fennick Props NYC, for driving it to CT for us.

When working with rescue dogs, it takes a village, a big one!

We are hoping that being able to have more playtime and an older dog as rolemodel will make Bailey come out of his shell even more than he has. Bailey is learning about the world, and Cosmo is learning to trust humans again.

Meet Flower

Flower is a 1 1/2 year old baby girl who came to us after her owner was evicted and left her behind. How anyone could do that, especially to this young, sweet girl, just blows our minds. She is pretty nervous here, so that makes us even more sad. Flower enjoys going out for walks with her volunteer buddies, but definitely needs some leash manners and some basic obedience training. Flower can also be wary of strangers, so a savvy owner is best for our pretty girl. She is winning over our hearts here, but we don't want to see her grow up here... don't let this young girl pass you by.
