Searching for just the right semi retirement home for this wonderful mare. Chloe is a 19 year old Percheron/QH whose career has included dressage and eventing. An old injury is preventing her from staying in her current program, but she is sound for light riding and hacking out. She’s the horse all the non horsey visitors to the farm get to climb up on and ride around. Just a fabulous, super steady, bombproof girl. Please PM for inquiries

Hey horse friends! Trying to help out a dear friend with a special needs horse find a good boarding situation, the closer to Grapevine the better. Horse owner is a dedicated care giver of her sweet gelding and comes out multiple times per week to care him. Ideal situation would have a grass turnout with alone or with a passive buddy and access to shelter. A private home would be ideal. Had a lovely day out in Abilene yesterday judging for the Big Country Equestrian Club's two day show. Tachina Eva has done a phenomenal job building this club and creating something special for riders in west Texas, giving them a great opportunity to show. Dressage, hunt seat, halter, combined test and more were offered. If you're out that way, join the club!

I'm so grateful for the view from atop this boy today. Almost two months battling a very nasty case of pigeon fever; Flag was so sick and so thin 😪...still not completely clear, but well enough for a few minutes of walking around ba****ck ❤️

I believe one of the ways the Holy Spirit of God speaks to us is through music. My sweet Flag has been going through a very difficult time the last several weeks, having been afflicted with all three manifestations of pigeon fever at once (external abscesses, lung abscesses, lymphatic infection). While I was hauling to a vet clinic last week, the "hook" of this song came to mind and absolutely would not leave (and I wasn't even listening to music). I couldn't remember anything of the song but that line, so I finally looked it up. I've posted it in the comments below (since FB seems to hate YT). I hope it speaks to someone who needs to hear it this morning ♥ As for Flag, he starts new meds today, and he has drastically improved since the first week of all of this. But whatever the outcome, I have not doubt "everything's gonna be alright"
