As we start turning into winter and the horses are all cozy in their blankets, I want to reflect on some things I have been thankful for.

First off, the equine partners that tote us around are the ones that deserve all the recognition. All the horses have grown and succeeded in so many different ways throughout the year. They win us our pretty ribbons and bring the barn such joy with their personalities. We wouldn’t be the people we are without them.

Secondly, my client family, I wouldn’t be where I am without you! Your dedication and trust in me is something I cherish. It makes my day when you come out smiling to the barn and joke around with me. From bringing me coffee or asking me to pet sit for you, you make my life so enriched. I truly believe I have the best barn family.

To the amazing people who support me, my coaches, my parents, my friends and partners, the amount of care I have for each of you cannot be put in words. I love each of you. I wouldn’t be the rider or professional I am without your support. Thank you for getting up at 4am and driving hours to just sit in the hot sun or rain to let me go jump my farm animal over stuff in the woods.

As we begin to look forward to closing out the competition season and enjoying some cozy winter training months ahead, we’re filled with gratitude for this incredible journey we share with all of you.
