A horsey filled weekend for the barn!

🍀 Luci and I went to the Battle Creek Hunt Club Hunter Pace, where we once again won the tortoise award. We absolutely love the hunt club and this event is a highlight of our year!

🦄 Lila went to her first horse show! She did phenomenal at her show with Fancy. I double booked myself so the best neighbor & owner of Fancy went with her! Exciting to see how this pair develops.

Our last Thistle Run Equestrian Event Services show of the season ended with such growth from everyone. I can’t put to words how proud I am of the work the girls have done this year. Whether it is improving our position, jumping higher, or gaining confidence, every single one of my kiddos has exceeded my expectations. The kiddos even started telling ME what they needed to do to improve!
We have a few more shows before our season is completely over, but this series ended with such a bang.
Some highlights!

💅🏻 Kenz and Hello I’m Johnny Cash competed at 18” for the first time, along with getting well deserved ribbons, including a year end award plus that blue!

👑 Luci and Honeybee got top ribbons and won both her eq classes! Such a confidence builder

🦄 Chloe and Buddy killed it at their first TR show, and won a class! They put down some solid rounds with nice ribbons in jumping as well!

🍀 Mila came and supported the crew for her birthday! Can’t wait to get her back in the show ring after her injury!

Thank you to our wonderful show parents as well. Couldn’t survive without you!

Liam got us fifth at Hunters Run HT last weekend! Love him and thank you Katie Ruppel, GGF, and my lil crew for all the support and kindness!

Liam’s first hunter/jumper show gave us lots of learning opportunities! However, we buckled down and won a solid fifth place in the Hunter Classic!! I am SO PROUD of this horse. Two years ago I couldn’t imagine being in this position, let alone not feeling sick to my stomach at competitions. We learned a lot, did both of our first real tabled jumper rounds, and had a solid weekend overall. I am so excited for our first horse trials in a couple weeks. We definitely had more fun in the jumper ring, but I think you may see us play around in some hunter derbies 🧐

So incredibly thankful for my chilliest horse. Everyone loved his attitude and we had a little cheer team by the end of the show. Liam is one in a million ❤️

Thank you to my mom for coming with me, the boys at home for keeping the place running, and everyone I met at the show for being incredibly kind!

Liam wanting out of his cage since he’s doing just fine… Mr. Speedy Gonzalez is having a BLAST at the Rattlewood Show. Plastic flowers are much scarier than the ones out in the cross country field! Looking forward to the jumpers on Sunday 🥳
