Abbie & Indy showing in rated, 0.75 classes for the first time. Breaking her hand 6 weeks ago and barely out of her cast, still in her splint, she made all of us proud with her unwavering Spirit to get out there and do her best! Placing in a couple very large classes. Congratulations Abbie!

Riding can be challenging at times. Ups & downs literally.
Ava & Cowboy looking really good & showing in the coliseum for the very first time. 2’3” jump height.
At the next jump however, Ava fell off.
She exemplified courage and grace as she walked her pony out of the arena. With in minutes, Ava memorized her next course & went right back in to compete again.
Way to go Ava! True courage with the large crowd behind you all the way❤️

Wow- What a day for Cowboy & Ava at the Minnesota State Fair Hunter Jumper Show.
Only riding Cowboy for a few weeks as Ava outgrew her lovely pony Roman. Bonding both under saddle and just hanging out. Today, Ava jumped a jump backwards and was DQ’d. Oops Gracefully leaving the arena remembering to jump the flower box side . Determined : Ava & Cowboy completed a clean 2’ round and placed 4th!!

Every barn needs a Shadow!
Shadow is an incredibly kind, willing & talented horse. She has guided so many riders from the flat to beginning/ intermediate level jumping.
We’d be lost without her.

Sarah arrived an hour before her lesson to meticulously brush off all the mud and dirt from her horse ensuring a comfortable ride.
Her thoughtfulness to her horse and being ready to warm her horse up & ride at lesson time is commendable.
Picture isn’t the best but Sarah’s riding is really improving with her dedication!

Saturday’s Jump Team practice was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard on their flat work & were rewarded with some jumping at the end of practice.

Sassy update as promised!

Sassy and Abby had a great ride yesterday.
Nice -relaxed canter. Born March 19, young 4 year old with very long legs & fresh off the track last fall we’re taking it slow. Sassy loves people, enjoys working under saddle and shes a pleasure to work with.
Abby is doing a great job helping with her training.
Low level jumps , schooling shows next on our list.😊

Black Horse crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this morning. He was laying down at night check and just didn’t have the energy to get up. Just shy of 37 years old and still going strong til the end.
When he was 4, he broke his pelvis roping his first steer. So getting up has always taken extra effort and tonight he layed their quietly, snoring from time to time letting us know he was tired & it was his time to say goodbye.
Pictured with Todd who raised him since he was born, Todd trained him and they competed in rodeo in which they won numerous titles & buckles.
Todd donated Black Horse to Cornerstone 8 years ago. An amazing children’s horse, there will never be another Black Horse. Thank you Minnesota Horse Council for the Amazing honor selecting him as Horse of the Year!
So blessed to have had the time with him that we did.❤️❤️

Draped rein, relaxed, confident and happy horse enjoying a relaxing moment with Michelle.

You don’t see the bobcat 50 feet away being loaded with round pen panels. The banging of the panels being dismantled, the sputtering of the diesel engine, and its obnoxious safety back up beeping noise.

This horse was hotter than hot when she first arrived. Well done Michelle❤️

So much fun & so many firsts at the North Run Hunter Show Saturday. *First place & first time cantering a full jump course for Gabby & her horse Shadow. A big class with 12 *Cornerstone's Stallion Blues first show & first time doing a full jump course. *Kellys first show riding Raspberry & Blue. *Big Red & Lillys first show. Winning the 2'3 & up *Super Indeeds first show.. A big thanks to the parents, family & friends who joined us along with all of your help!

A Beautiful day at Carriage House for the final 2018 Red Pine Hunter Jumper Show. Sure proud of each of the young ladies. They rode extremely well and had so much fun. Some of the class highlights: Gabby/Shadow 5th out of 19 entries Gabby/Shadow 6th out of 12 entries Kallie/Katie 4th out of 6 entries Lily/Raspberry 3rd out of 11 entries Lily/ Raspberry 4th out of 12 entries Brooklyn/Calypso 6th out of 11 entries Special mention to Kate & Josey (1st Hunter show) As Always a Big Thank you to all the amazing family members & friends.

Sure proud of these outstanding young ladies & their horses. A terrific time at the Hunter jumper show at the St. Croix Training Center in Hudson.
