Sassy Update: overachiever comes to mind. She went over a 1 foot vertical with the enthusiasm & power required for Grand Prix. We have been working only on the flat for the past several months. She’s still growing like a w**d and at four years old we’re in no hurry. But definitely excited for her future after sending her over a few small jumps with Abby.

What keeping the horses & humans safe looks like after Mother Nature gave us a thick coating of ice this afternoon. A big thanks to boarders Amy & Michelle for bringing All 49 horses into the barn safely so the parking lot & horse walking areas could be taken care of.

Meet Marcada. A pretty OTTB rescued from the kill pen a year ago and nursed back to health by Nancy who has GENEROUSLY gifted her to Cornerstone on the Vermillion.
Nothing beats a good roll in the soft arena sand when the ground outside is frozen hard.
Excited to get her ready for the Hunter ring this coming show season. Her show name is going to be Nancy’s Blessing❤️

Striped with Love
I want to express thanks & gratitude to some incredibly kind and gracious individuals who have given so much of themselves and their time❤️
This year we have a number of new riding saddles for our lesson program thanks to Bev. Bev has also helped keep the lawn and flower gardens looking like the cover of Better Homes & Gardens.
Our parking lot was cleaned & striped, the w**ds removed and our driveway regularly graded and acres of scrappy trees removed by Jed. From electrical to plumbing, equipment & maintenance- volunteer Todd’s here almost every weekend.
Amy, Kathy & Vanessa are extremely generous with their time as well.
Thanks to these wonderful people and thanks to our boarders who Smile and and ask: “Is there anything I can help with?”
Feeling so blessed ❤️

Enjoying a scenic fall ride through the tall grass on a confident young horse. Listening to the sound of crisp leaves 🍁 crunching with each step. Then came the bunny hopping as we became covered in burdock head to tail. 😬
A very enjoyable ride with a little more enthusiasm than when we started 😉
