Nothing can ruin a vacation or trip away from home like the nagging worry as to whether your beloved pet is getting the love and attention they so richly deserve. ry best alternative. We provide accommodations for Dogs and Cats, and specialize in luxury doggie suites. We offer dog obedience training classes and services, as well as dog training and behavior advice on puppy, dog and cat training. Our clubs and schools are the place to go to train your dog, beginning with puppy kindergarten thru advanced positive training. If your pet has special needs we will cheerfully accomadate them. To allow adequate time, please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before our scheduled closing time. For security reasons, our doors cannot be unlocked after business hours. Note: RioGran is open 365 days a year and can house dogs during everyday of the year, but no pick ups or drop offs are available on major holidays. New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

The holidays are just around the corner! We wanted to remind everyone of our holiday hours so that you can plan accordingly:

On December 24th (Christmas Eve) and December 31st (New Year's Eve), the office will be open from 7 AM - 12 PM for check ins/outs. We will also have daycare available from 7 AM - 12 PM.

On December 25th (Christmas Day) and January 1st (New Year's Day) the office will be closed for check ins/outs and daycare, however, our team will still be here to provide superior care!

We have some very exciting news to share with you! We have officially updated our website. With this new opportunity, we want to take the time to re-introduce ourselves.

For the love of our four-legged companions, that is why we do what we do. We are a one-of-a kind boarding, daycare, and training academy that is family owned and operated located in Hastings, Minnesota. We are the one and only Rio Gran. We do not have nor operate out of any other location. We treat every guest as if they are our own—a member of the family. We do not discriminate against any breed, size, age, or temperament at our facility because we believe shared love for a companion should not be limited.

At Rio Gran, our mission is to provide unparalleled luxury and comfort while giving you peace of mind knowing that your beloved companion is at their home away from home. You will see and feel the difference.

At our facility, we provide luxurious boarding accommodations for dogs and cats, supervised off-leash group play, and a variety of training courses for all stages of life.
