****NEW MICHIGAN EUROPEAN STEEL PLAQUE****
Some of you may have seen these floating around, However Keith Lackscheide is custom making these locally in Vermontville, MI. Avoid shipping and Just pay $70.00 to support your local guy.
Keith asked me to donate this sign to a youth hunter for their European mount dropped off at Crane’s Taxidermy. The only stipulation is it has to be their first deer. He will cut out the date on the steel to match your harvest date if desired. If you have any questions please reach out to us or Keith.

Thank you Rock Hill Farms and Shayna for the donor cape! If you have a deer that was shot and the hair began to slip or you have an old mount there is always the option of finding a donor cape. If it is an early season or late season deer then we can try to match the hide as best we can.

Time to introduce ourselves a bit. Some of you know Brandon, some know Bobbi, and some only know of us through word of mouth.
We are a family of eight, six kids ranging from 23 years of age on down to 7 years.
Brandon graduated from Lake O in 2006, Bobbi graduated from Ionia in 2001.
Brandon served in the Army Military Intelligence and graduated from Airborne school. He was lucky enough to live in Hawaii his last 5 years before retiring. Then drove for Meijer for 6 years, and did a bit of bus driving for Lake O. He then decided to follow his dream and go to Taxidermy School in Pennsylvania.
Bobbi owned her own child care for almost ten years and before that she was a stay at home mom. She retired from child care and subs for Lake O in the food department.
Brandon does the majority of the work on the animals, while Bobbi does the sewing and helps with the skinning. Brandon is teaching her to do more and she is going to start making wall art with feathers (pictures to come at a later time).
Hope you all are enjoying hunting season and stay safe out there

Don’t forget! We do Euro Mounts also!
This was shot 3 years ago, and has sat outside in the elements until we decided to work on it. Color stained the antlers. Also we have the ability to fill and bring any separated bone structure together if that’s a concern.

First deer of the season, and it’s a repair job. A lot of things done right and it’s a great buck. Unfortunately primer grey nose, eyes, ears, and wound just isn’t natural. Time to remove the grey and make this buck look more realistic. I’ll post pictures of the corrected colors and finished product soon.
