Last night Canaan’s family had to say goodbye. We’ve spent almost every morning together since March and I’m surely going to miss my mornings with her. It’s been a hard year, she’s the 3rd old girl I’ve had to say goodbye to and the senior gals always have a special place in my heart 💔 On our last walk together she was very tired, so I sat with her on the grass while she laid in the sun and got unlimited pets and kisses and I made sure to tell her that she is the bestest girl

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, and I can’t help but think of Maddie 🌈 She was a spunky girl who loved her long walks. Her and her sisters are one of the first pups I got the pleasure of working with. Every time I see her sisters I can’t help but think of her. It’s hard to think it’s already a month and a half without this lady!

I’m sad to say that this week we lost Lucy. She spent this year fighting hard but it was unfortunately her time. Lucy was one of the sweetest girls, always pushing past her siblings to greet me first. When I had sleepovers with her and her siblings she loved to sleep right on top of me, personal space is not a concept she could understand. I am forever grateful that I got to take care of her and my weeks will not be the same. Rest easy Lucy 💕🕊️
