Dr. Michele Campellone has been practicing veterinary medicine for over sixteen years. She provides medical and surgical treatment of routine conditions. She began her career in animal health care in 1984 working as a veterinary assistant. She attained certification as a licensed Animal Health Technician in 1986. mal Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. During her four years as an ICU nurse she gained experience in critical care and blood transfusion therapy. She began her studies in Veterinary Medicine in 1993 at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded the VMD degree in 1997. Currently, Dr. Campellone is providing exceptional veterinary care to patients in the comfort of their own home. This minimizes the stress that many animals experience in a crowded office setting. The Veterinarian can spend as much time as is needed observing her patients in their home environment. A home visit by the Visiting Vet is beneficial for "pet parents" as well because they can have their questions answered and receive information relevant to responsible animal guardianship in a relaxed setting.
