For personal reasons, I have moved from Petal, MS back to the Slidell, LA area. Due to my unexpected move, I will no longer be selling treats at Hattiesburg farmer’s market. I also will no longer be taking any boarding clients or taking any more new private training clients until further notice. Please be patient with me for responding back to messages as I’m going through a lot right now and I’m not on social media as much. I will try to respond to messages within 24-48 hours. Thank you to everyone in the Hattiesburg/ Petal area who has supported my small business in any way. I’m so grateful for everyone I met and for all the people and dogs I have gotten to help.

This is a questions i get most often from clients.

I try to tell people not to get too caught up on specific numbers or specific times. The amount of times you practice a specific command or exercise may vary. Since every dog is different you may need to spend more or less time on specific commands/behaviors than others.

You are your dog’s trainer and as a dog trainer it’s important to know your dog. Learning your dog will help you determine what to work on and for how long. If you are struggling to understand your dog or you are stuck on where to start with training, message us to book a free consultation!

Summer is here and unfortunately I will not be taking boarding clients until August 15th! My biggest priority with boarding is to make sure each dog is safe and to minimize stress during each stay. I have one room I keep my boarding dogs in during their stay and currently I have a board and train client who is fearful of dogs staying with me until August. Due to that, I will not take dogs until after his stay.

I truly appreciate everyone who has trusted me to care for their dogs while on vacation. I am grateful to provide a less stressful boarding experience for your dog(s).

Being that we have a small capacity for our boarding facility, be sure to book as soon as you as planning your vacation!

Athena(black GSD): Chasing and eating bugs on the playground
Kamaria(teacup poodle): Eating her food and then trying to eat everyone else’s food

Sterling: bullying everyone and not listening to a single person in authority because clearly she’s the leader.

Denver: flirting with all the girls and beating up all the boys.

Killian: following whoever was doing something naughty and playing super innocent afterwards, no matter the crime.

Keeva the foster dog: refusing to get up off the floor in gym class because she’s “too good” for exercise.

I made double the amount of nutty buddy treats this week and again yall have me sold out!
Thank yall for supporting my small business. I’m grateful to be able to make clean treats for our furry friends.

Tomorrow come stop by Qonscious K9 Training table Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market to get some homemade treats for your dog! Our treats are made with oat flour, Grumpy bee honey (local honey), locally sourced meat, homemade broths, and fresh fruit! Ps most of our treats do not contain chicken! We like to keep in mind that many dogs have food allergies.

I also have free dog training information about crate training, potty training, and even leash training!

I look forward to seeing some 4 legged friends tomorrow!

📣Did you know that most reactivity and other behavioral issues are just a symptom of other underlying problems? One common underlying problem that most reactive/unruly dogs have is lack of clear communication with their owner. If you cannot communicate with your dog inside your home, then you definitely won’t be able to communicate with your dog outside. Thus making your home one of the first places you should begin training to create better communication between you and your dog. Train at home to set you and your reactive/untuly dog up for success whenever you move on to training outside!
Your reactive/unruly dog + training inside and around your home = a more engaged and responsive dog out in public and eventually around their triggers.
Training inside your home🏠….�✅ Allows you and your dog to stay in comfort of your home�✅ Allows you more control of your training environment. No worries about being rushed by off leash dogs or having some other outside circumstance mess up your session
✅ Allows you to feel more comfortable to make mistakes and to feel less anxious if your dog makes a mistake.
✅Allows your dog to build a strong foundation of communication with you�✅ Allows you and your dog uninterrupted one on one time together.
Here are some easy things that you can train at home
*Basic commands (sit stay, down stay, leave it, wait, here)
*Advanced commands (duration place commands, heel, impulse control, any sort of tricks)
*Structured play (having your dog drop the toy when asked, make your dog wait while you throw the toy, recall your dog away from the toy, etc)
*Leash manners (sitting calmly to get leash put on, no pulling on leash, no biting leash, etc)
*Door manners (no running out of the door without permission, no sprinting out the front door after being released, practice calm behavior while the front door is open, etc)
