Happy crafting and we hope to see you there!
It never hurts to start the day by saying, "Today will be a good day." Thatโs exactly the attitude sweet Mabel brought with her to her Midtown Surgery Clinic visit. Her kindness and joyful spirit touched every one of us, and left a paw-shaped imprint on our hearts.
Thank you, Mabel. ๐
Weโre proud to be a nonprofit organization serving the Pine Belt community! To celebrate #NationalNonprofitDay, we asked our leadership what does being a #nonprofit mean to you in one word? For us, it's more than just veterinary medicine. Itโs about that special bond between a person and their pet, and how we can help them live happier and healthier lives, together.
Thank you so much to everyone who supports our clinic and weโre so grateful to those who have entrusted our team with their petโs health. Thank you for continuing to make #affordable #veterinary care possible for our community. #cat #dog

Get ready for National Garfield the Cat Day!
Is your cat a little Garfield in disguise? Do they have a penchant for certain treats or love lounging around all day? We want to know!
Tell us, what's your cat's most Garfield-like trait? Whether they're a lazy lounger, a mischievous trickster, or a food lover, share your stories and pictures in the comments below.
Let's celebrate our furry friends and their purr-fectly Garfield-esque personalities.
Ever wondered what your cat is really trying to tell you? From the flick of a tail to the twitch of an ear, our feline companions constantly express their emotions. By understanding these subtle signals, you can gain a deeper insight into your cat's world, knowing when they're content, in need of space, or possibly unwell.
For instance, a cat with its tail upright and a slight curve at the end is usually in a good mood and sees you as a friend. If their tail is flicking back and forth quickly, they might be agitated. Their ears are also very expressive: ears facing forward typically indicate a content kitty, while ears flattened against their head might mean they need some space. They might also purr, chirp, or knead with their paws to show they are happyโjust like our clinic cat, Kylie, who has a unique way of showing how much she loves back scratches. ๐บ
Learning to read your cat's body language can deepen your bond and help them feel comfortable and happy. For a more detailed look at what your cat may be trying to tell you, check out Alley Cat's visual guide on cat body language at https://loom.ly/OdsHN0o ๐ป

Fun Fact Friday!
Ever wonder why dogs seem to lick everything in sight, from their fur to their favorite toys and even the walls? Licking is a natural instinct for dogs and serves various purposes for our furry friends. It's their way of grooming, soothing itchy skin, signaling hunger or discomfort, and exploring their world through taste and smell. Plus, let's not overlook those affectionate kisses they lavish upon us to show love and respect!
However, excessive licking might indicate an underlying issue, such as skin and health problems, pain, or even boredom or anxiety. That's why it's crucial to monitor your pup's licking habits and seek advice from your vet if you have any concerns. ๐พ
