🐾❤️‍🩹We need help please!! This sweet girl is Joule, a 2 year old spayed female mountain curr whose owner passed away. She is hanging out with us at the clinic until we can find her a new family. 🐾 If you have pets outside make sure they have shelter from rain and wind. If you have an inside pet with weather anxiety sometimes a smaller, closed off area can help them relax- cuddles work too! 🐾

✨ Happy Mardi Gras from us at Davis Vet! We know there's some bad weather on the horizon BUT we still hope you enjoy catching some beads, eating delicious food and having a great time- Like Opal! ✨

🌨 Please remember to keep an eye on your pets during the bad weather. Make sure if you have outside pets that they have a shelter to get away from the rain and wind. If your pet get scared or has anxiety a quiet place can help them be more relaxed. 🌨

Whitney Schreiber has been a lead vet tech with us at Davis Veterinary Hospital for 8 years. Her compassion coupled with her phenomenal technical skills are invaluable to us! She is the epitome of the cat whisperer, but all the dogs love her too! Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is forming lifelong bonds with her pet patients and their families. She is one in a million and we are SO GRATEFUL that she’s on our team!

❄️🐾❄️🐾Jaxson said it’s WAY too cold to be out and about!! The roads are still too dangerous to travel so we are planning to open by noon tomorrow (earlier if possible). We will make room in the schedule for anyone who needs to be seen. We apologize for the delay in opening but the safety of our employees our clients is our primary concern! 🐾❄️🐾❄️

❄️ BURRR! We have quite the cold front moving through this weekend and a chance of snow next week. ❄️

🤍 Friendly reminder for any and all outdoor babies: make sure they have a dry, warm place to bed down or a dedicated room to stay protected from the elements. 🤍

✨ Some helpful tips: ✨
1. Check your vehicles for pets that may crawl under the hood for warmth.
2. If your pets are outside keep in mind their size and coat type can dictate the time they're comfortable outside.
3. Protect their feet: make sure to dry their feet when they come inside and that they don't get too cold.
