Help! We are in desperate need of old towels at the clinic. 6804 US Hwy 98 Hattiesburg, MS 39402. When the rescue we support, The Pretty Pittie Committee, does a transport through our clinic we end up sending towels out with the dogs and cats. We sent out lots and lots in January and could sure use some more. If anyone has some they could donate we would be grateful.

We are very short staffed due to the flu. We will need a little extra patience over the next few days! We will have a tough time with 4 of 5 of our vet techs and 1 of our doctors battling this wretched virus at home! Love and prayers for everyone fighting this flu!

Our most recent AHS Heartworm Incidence Survey revealed some sobering stats. Heartworms are on the rise--in areas where they've always been and also in NEW areas.

It’s the week of Thanksgiving and we wanted to let everyone know our business hours.
We will close this Wednesday (11-27-24) at Noon to celebrate Thanksgiving with our familys and will be back open on Friday (11-29-24) with regular hours, 7:30 am-5:30 pm.
If you have an emergency, Evets will be open from Noon on Wednesday until 8 am on Friday morning. They will also be open during the weekend with their regular hours.
We hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving 🦃🍽️🍁

Last but never least - Sarah Robertson! Sarah can fill in as a tech or a receptionist and absolutely rocks both positions!! She is our Wednesday and Friday technician and we are thrilled to have her. Her love of our patients, her quirky sense of humor and her ability to see the beautiful in nearly everyone is always a breath of fresh air. We are so lucky to have her and are proud to celebrate her during veterinary technician week! Love you lots Sarah!

Jodi Hartfield Smith is our next person to celebrate during Veterinary Technician week! This experienced, talented, organized, pet loving lady is a HUGE asset to our team! Jodi’s adoration for dogs and cats and their families shows in everything she does and we are beyond blessed to have her as a part of our team! Jodi keeps us all on track ❤️. Our VETERINARY TECHNICIAN week long celebration continues! If you haven’t met Zack Jones yet then you have missed out on one of the kindest, sweetest and funniest guys around! Zack started with us at Bow Wow Boutique and then after a short break returned to us as a kennel technician here at Advanced Pet Care. It wasn’t long before Zack showed us he could excel as a Vet Tech and he can even be a very polished receptionist when needed! We are so proud of him and his wonderful patient care! Love you lots Zack!

National Tech Week Celebration continues! And we love bragging on our amazing technicians! Kimberlee Brumbaugh came to us just before the COVID lockdown. She was a fairly new tech then and had a HUGE learning curve in front of her. Her desire to love and care for all of our patients along with her strong desire to learn help create the talented technician she is today. We were so lucky to have her come to us during that difficult time! Her passionate patient care is second to none. Thank you Kimberlee for all you do. ❤️❤️. We love you Kimberlee!

It’s the week to celebrate Veterinary Technicians and we have the absolute best around!! Amanda Shotts Vaughan has been with us since she wasn’t much older than her beautiful daughter Sawyer! She is extremely talented, kind and caring. Amanda spends most of her mornings monitoring and caring for our surgical patients. She is our primary surgical tech and we are blessed to have her there BUT she also works in the clinic in every aspect of veterinary technician care. Thank you for two decades of top notch care Amanda! We love you lots!
