We are not drafters nor architects. We are residential designers who provide high quality, affordable designs. Lake & Land Studio, LLC specializes in rural building design. We believe houses, boathouses, and barns should be designed in harmony with its surroundings, drawing inspiration from local vernacular architectural forms. Located in South Mississippi we primarily focus on designing Lake Hou

ses, Boathouses, and Retreats. We are currently expanding our scope of work to include rural estates, hunting camps, and equestrian farms. We are a small business which allows us to take great pride in the projects we design. We are detail oriented, and we tailor our designs to each individuals needs and wants, never letting our own intentions trump that of our clients. Our primary goal is to create homes and places where clients can feel their input in every space they're in. We pride ourselves in creating unique, one of a kind designs, for every client we work with.

✨ Meg: Attends Mississippi State University and is majoring in Interior Design.

Fun Fact: Meg traveled to Italy last year and her favorite part was the coast and all the quaint towns. 🇮🇹

✨ Emily: Recently graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and has her degree in Architecture Engineering Technology. Emily has interned with us since last summer and has graduated from intern to full time employee! 🎉

Fun Fact: Emily is a talented artist who works with various mediums. Check out her IG page .graceart 🎨

✨Mattie: Attends the University of Southern Mississippi and is majoring in Interior Design. This is her second summer to intern with us!

Fun Fact: Mattie's first concert she attended was a Hannah Montana concert! 🎤

✨ Branden: Attends the University of Southern Mississippi and is majoring in Architecture Engineering Technology.

Fun Fact: Branden is an ordained minister who has married his cousin and has two upcoming weddings to perform!🤵👰

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate for the position of BIM Manager. The ideal candidate should possess experience in high-end residential architecture and must demonstrate proficiency in modeling and documenting exclusively in ArchiCAD. We prefer candidates with 3-5+ years of ArchiCAD experience. This position is on-site at our office located in Hattiesburg, MS.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects and designers to develop and implement BIM strategies for residential projects.
Create and maintain detailed BIM models using ArchiCAD.
Generate accurate construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure BIM models are integrated seamlessly into the design process.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure BIM models and documentation meet internal standards and project requirements.
Provide training and support to staff members on BIM software and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in ArchiCAD with 3-5+ years of experience in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Previous experience in high-end residential architecture is preferred.
