I'd like to celebrate the lives of our labs that are 10 years of age and older. I think their stories are interesting and they deserve all our attention. If you are lucky enough to have one in your family, please post a photo and share your feelings about the years you've spent together. How quickly 10 years go by -- this is Thor Olson out in Colorado who celebrated his 10th birthday yesterday. He and his dog friend no doubt enjoyed many treats and well wishes. Thor, what a good guy you are (according to Mom) and I'm going to believe it.

This is Stack the Deck -- and we call him Max. He is five years old, OFA Good Hips and Normal Elbows, and as you can see from the photo, Max really believes he is God's Gift to the Dog World. Great pedigree -- Mom is Miss Teddy and Dad is The Stakes Are High...... and he's proud of it. While I'm continuing (little by little) to cut down, Max is looking for a truly great home. He's active, alert, and doesn't miss anything. I don't think he would want to share his home with another male dog but he is definitely a ladies' man. He has to have a fenced yard -- no pottying on a leash. If he holds your interest please email me at [email protected]. Thanks, folks, for looking at this fella.

Sierra (puppy) found a super home in Florida and one thing that makes it even more special is she lives close enough to Laurie that she gets to spend time on the farm where the older fella (Hulk) follows her everywhere and is always looking out for her. How great is that????

I have a yellow girl 16 months of age and she's ready for a new home. Cutting back here is kind of like pulling teeth -- I don't like it, but I have to make life a little easier. She needs a fenced yard (or a large acreage) so she has room to run a little. She's never been on a leash to potty and a dog friend would be the icing on the cake. I want to show you our newest family member. He's Weston David Todd and he's 2 months old. At 84 plus years of age I have to smile as I remember our two sons, then finally two grandsons, and now two great grandsons born within 4 months of each other. As I think about it my biggest concern is for the local first grade teacher when she realizes she will have two T-Bar cowboy cousins in her class the same year. That will definitely qualify for a teacher's helper. It will keep things moving here on the ranch also as all live within a 5-mile radius of the home place. What a wonderful tribute has been paid to Grandad (who passed before they were born). Both grandsons named their sons with his name and he would have been so very proud.

Meeting super labbie Mason Regalado who has long been a Floridian. He celebrated his 9th b'day a short time ago and Mom says she recently had hip surgery and Mason stayed by her through it all. She also mentions the entire neighborhood knows him and he behaves wonderfully around people including children, individuals in wheel chairs, and delivery people. Mason, I'm very proud that you are King of the neighborhood and hope you had a wonderful 9th birthday. Take good care of Mom.

Riggs Kolar whose home is in Florida has just celebrated his first birthday. Mom says he has been training in Alabama and North Dakota for bird hunting and that he will soon be coming home to live. Riggs, it looks like you are doing a great job and have learned much in your travels. I know you will be happy to be back home. Happy Happy first birthday.

Out on Long Island Golda Amitai just celebrated her 5th birthday. . GrandMom (Rebecca) says she has four young grandchildren and Golda is great with all of them. She also mentions the nice couple who won the lottery transported Golda to them in October of 2021. This photo is little Eden and Golda enjoying each other's company.

What a grand life this chocolate fellow had. He's Kahlua Donovan and he flew as a puppy into Florida. Mom say that's the only kennel he was ever in and we are celebrating his 14 plus years of life and fun times. He traveled extensively with his family in their RV and had been to Newfoundland twice, to most States, the Bahamas and Alaska. He passed while traveling and they have his ashes to return with them to Florida. It's a very sad trip for his parents as he was loved unconditionally. He had lots of stories to tell.

Sophie Jandera is celebrating her 11th birthday and it looks like Mom has made a personal cake for her with all the candles. Not surprising though, her parents have gone above and beyond all through the years. Congratulations, Sophie -- eleven years is a statement.

Out in New Jersey, two fellas are mighty comfortable right where they are. The yellow boy is Ranger and he will be 9 in November and the older gentleman is Boomer and he will be 14 in December. It looks like they have survived all the NJ weather and will be getting ready for a great Holiday Season.
