I failed to get these great photos posted. This was Millie Girl out in the Carolinas enjoying her Christmas present from Mom. She has won a number of titles and it would seem she might want to go for another -- just watch her happiness with what she's doing.

Today has been eventful and special here in SE Kansas. Our second great grandson was born early this morning and has left all of us very blessed. As you know, we have two sons, two grandsons, and now two great grandsons. They are four months apart in age and my mind keeps thinking about the elementary school teachers when they realize they will have two cowboy cousins in the same class. Seriously, we will work toward keeping them in line before they get there but it does make me smile. Of course we are doing a good job of spoiling one little great granddaughter and she is already working on little brother to keep him out of trouble. Today we now have Weston David Todd. Both boys have been named after Great Grand dad and how very proud he would be. The photo shows Weston at 12 hours of age (in his first cowboy outfit.

This little one-year old girl is thoroughly entertained watching the puppies on TV. It's as much fun to watch her as to look at the TV screen. Her name is Dixie and I believe she is the Yellow Rose of Texas.

HEY, LOOK ME OVER ---- I'm Zeke Hall and I live about an hour south of Kansas City on a large spread where I do lots of chores.-- including cleaning horse stalls. Now folks, that's really not fun, but Mom says it has to be done. I know I look kind of chocolate in this photo, but honestly, I'm coal black and I'm now 10-1/2 years of age. Jan thinks I look young because of my lifestyle and she may be right. If you go by my place, be sure to honk and wave.

Arkansas Friends ------ Meet Ernie (right photo) two years of age and his best friend (Winston) another T-Bar puppy who lives 15 miles from Ernie. They have good times together and keep the city of Fayetteville on the map. Ernie doesn't know yet, but when the Fall puppies arrive, he is supposed to get a new little friend who will live with him full time.

Beyond the Sunset ---- I have a sad note from the Wayenberg family in the Kansas City area. Jack Wayenberg passed away four days ago at the age of 14 with all his family members surrounding him. Mom says it's impossible to say how much joy and happiness he brought to all of them. He always had many acres to explore and lived a grand life as a privileged fella -- and left wonderful memories.

Another good-looking boy has just sent a photo of himself enjoying an annual Father's Day outing. The Frio River in Texas is just too much fun to pass up. The white fella's name is Hoot Hill -- and I believe he is enjoying celebrating this Holiday honoring his Dad -- Garrett

The far Northeast is home to Yeti and Nessie Bea. Mom says this photo makes them look small but they're not. Yeti weighs 90 pounds and Nessie weighs in at 60 pounds. They are happy labbies and have a pond for swimming and they do long walks to the beach. It's a dog world and they love every minute of it.

Remembering Wyatt ---- His Mom sent this photo and wants us to know they lost him yesterday. He was 11 years of age and she remembered picking him up as a small puppy at Jacksonville Airport, He was there for her wedding and when their two daughters came home from the hospital and many other memories. He was special and so was his wonderful family.

Recently retired Cloud Nine moved to the Lone Star State with a family who has homed retirees previously. Her new name is Millie and they have sent back this photo saying she has just helped tremendously with the chopping of a stump. Now, the clean-up begins and she will love it. Thanks to her new family for including her in their everyday life.

Meet Buddy McDaniel who is now 2-1/2 years old and a top hand in his family's Wrecker Service. Both parents came here to pick him up when he was very young. Immediately he started going with Dad in one of the vehicles each time a call came in. As you can see, he fit right into this exciting lifestyle and offers his special help when he sees the need. He is well traveled and Mom says he gets lots of attention wherever they go. He has a great life !!

This is Fenway Ramsey down in Texas with her two best friends. I think she was named Fenway before the move to Texas but it's still a great name. Mom says she loves chasing balls, the air conditioning, and the couch best of all. Fenway, you represent the breed so well and I'm glad you know how to get out of the Texas heat. Take good care of your two special friends and they will love you forever.
