It's time to hunt in Greenville, South Carolina and Miss Birdie Carter wants you to see what she does so well. She says she brought them all in and it was a tough job but she got it done. Birdie, you look a bit tired but you are definitely proud of your work and I know your Dad was too. Good Girl !!!

Holding things together out in California is Gus Pastor who celebrates his fourth birthday on Jan 1. I'm sure he celebrates all through the Holiday Season and it's one big party. Gus, you are so very handsome and of course the black pigmentation on a white dog is always an eyecatcher. So glad you have it -- makes me proud.......

What a Week -- This is Hank
Couturier down in St Simons, Ga, and he's looking like most of us feel -- totally exhausted from all the Holiday Fun. It was great and I'm sure Santa's bag was packed for him, but there's only so much one can do before you just have to have that nap. Hank, you are growing fast and I think you are going to be handsome as well. Keep sending photos so we can watch you.

There's still time today to celebrate a 13th birthday for Brady Phillips. Brady has probably been a "Mama's Boy" throughout the years as Lisa has doted on him. He thrived on all the attention and now he's 13 years old and looking for many more. I think he's recently changed his address and they are now in the Carolinas where life is good. Happy, Happy Birthday, Brady -- and continue to take good care of Mom. She has given you her "All".

This girl is "If I Can Dream" and she's ready to retire. She will be 7 years in January and she says she's ready to meet people and new dog friends. She's OFA Good Hips and Normal Elbows. She's looking for a home with at least one dog friend and a yard to play in. She's happy and I think she will adjust well. She's not a housedog here, but she will latch right onto the idea. It will take a few days to adjust because she's never been anywhere but here; however, just a bit of patience and friendliness will win her over. We are blessed to have so many members of this little group all over the States. This girl is well traveled as her Mom has pursued a career for which we can all be proud. This is Bailey Donaldson (nine years of age) and living with her beautiful Mom, Lieutenant Meredith Donaldson in Seattle Washington. She sends Holiday Greetings to all of Us.

I want to come back on here and say that Gary Robbins has given me permission to mention that he has just been diagnosed with cancer. Many of you have suffered the same and I know the road is a long and hard one to navigate. He just took his first treatment the 16th of this month and then a few days later lost Hank. He feels pretty low and would certainly appreciate prayers and encouragement from any of you who would like to help him through this next step. I do believe he will handle it with grace and will keep you updated.

I don't want to post this and you won't want to read it, but..... as in life, terrible things happen. A note from Gary Robbins to say they lost Hank Christmas Day. They did emergency surgery and doctors removed 18" of his intestines but that an uncontrollable fever took his life. He was only 2-1/2 years old. I asked what the basic cause was and he said it was a racoon chew toy. And added that they had no idea where he had found the toy. I know all of you will want to share sympathy with Gary and family as he's been so great to post his labs through the years.

There are many ways of waiting on St Nick and over in Missouri, Zeke Hall re-enacted the manger scene. Zeke is such a handsome fella and has seen several Christmas Eve's.......Santa would not miss him.

It was hard staying up for Santa, but Storm Oxner made it easier. He went to the Pool House connected with their home and found a way to keep his handsome head propped up. Of course, Santa found him in a big way !!!

Just when I think it can't get any better, along comes Harley Morimoto with Christmas Day greetings from Albuquerque, NM, for all of us. He's 2-1/2 years and 90 pounds (and that's definitely a Hunk). Mom says he's a naughty boy and gets into lots of trouble but they love him anyway. Harley, I'm counting on you to start behaving as you should. You are grown up now.

It truly is a great birthday today in Tyler, Texas. Sissy Alworth is celebrating her 15th birthday with style. Sissy was chosen as a puppy and of course her parents provide a wonderful home for retiring dogs from here so she has company. Currently there is one male (Keno) and I think he may be close to 16 ....... and two snazzy older girls (Miss Teddy and Shammy (short for Champagne). I am forever grateful to Dr. and Mrs. Alworth for all the help they have given me making their gorgeous home into a Labrador Heaven.

It's Christmas time all over our Country and this is Mojo Austin from California who just traveled to Arizona to spend Christmas with Grandma. I'll bet she was happy to see him and let's hope he behaves well while he's there. Merry Christmas to all of you in the deep Southwest. It looks warm there and we're quite cold this morning here at T-Bar Country.

This lab has always been special. Mom has put several AKC titles on her and they've gone through some trying times when she was hit by a car when they were out running. But, through it all, Leslie Bales and her "Millie Girl" have come out on top and they are now getting ready for a great Christmas Season. She sends this card for all of us to enjoy.
