The youngest Goblin I saw over the weekend was Great Grandson #2 and he had decided he didn't like the cute little headpiece with the ears, etc. But smiled his way through the evening and had a good time. This is Weston........ now 4 months.

Kathy Pruessner over in Liberty, Mo., made this super Halloween display but this year there were no grandkids to sit in front of it so....... Sir Labbie Jake and his dog friend Molly did the honors. "Both dogs look like they don't fully understand but they posed and looked great anyway.

Yesterday Buddy Basso down in New Braunfels, Texas, celebrated his 2nd birthday. Mom says he is super smart and the sweetest brother to Bugsy (a corgi best friend) and Cowboy (his 11-year old T-Bar brother). Buddy, how lucky you were when the Basso family took you into their home and hearts. Happy, Happy Birthday...... and do look after your brother as he gets a little older.

Yesterday was a rainy miserable day here in SE Kansas. But right on time, a super nice couple arrived to pick up their new puppy. They named her Birdie and she cuddled right in as they drove away. Today I have the first photo of her in her new home with older T-Bar sister Bailey. It looks like she realizes she's been blessed and will be taken care of in great style. Thank you to the Berg family for adopting her into their lives.

I've mentioned I have to cut down and that means letting some really nice girls transition to great retirement homes. This is 3-year old Shining Star and she is OFA Good Hips and OFA Normal elbows. Her sire is All round Cowboy and Mom is I Hung the Stars. Again, looking for a home with fenced yard and room for her to move around without being on a leash when outside. She's been a free spirit and I think it would be difficult for her to never have the freedom she's accustomed to. I just want to thank all of you for your interest in Icing On The Cake. She will be traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska where she will join an older T-Bar sister. She will get a lot of attention and I'm sure it will be a super, super home.

Jan calls me Icing On The Cake -- you see I was born the smallest in my litter and so she didn't mention or show me until I grew up. Well, I did that and today my vet checkup as always was very normal. She thinks (but she's not always right) that I won't weigh more than 65 pounds when I'm grown but I'm told I'm really very pretty. I'm ready to leave next week if you would like to check me out. Just send email (not any other messenger) to [email protected]. And, we'll be sure to get back with you. This is Lupin Santucci up in New York -- and it looks like he's already found an orange bandana and looking forward to the little trick-or-treaters. He's definitely on the large side -- over 100 pounds and ever so handsome. Lupin, you are going to make a lot of little ones happy just to pet you. If you act nice, someone will probably give you a few treats too.

I know all of you will be smiling with me -- I just received this photo of Mickey Killingsworth (and constant companion Cash, of course). Mickey has been in our prayers for a while now and Kristi sent this photo that shows him on his feet and flashing his famous smile to all of us after so much cancer treatment. Praise God for what we see today and may it continue endlessly.

It's that "time of year" and I want you to meet Piper Sipple -- who is at home in the Lone Star state. Piper is eleven years young and brightens the lives of those around her. Her parents drove from Dallas to Kansas to pick her up and Mom says she is their biggest gift from Heaven. So, she has to be special. She loves swimming at the lake and in her pool and is OBCESSED with her daily walks at the golf course where she hunts for golf balls and brings two home each day. So now, it's time for a white little sister for Piper. Wish me luck with that -- it's going to be fun.

This is not a note I want to write. Just received a note from Kelly Welter in Texas and they have had to say good-bye to their wonderful Miss Rosie. She was 12 years of age and loved by many including her 18-month old T-Bar brother Captain who will be lost without her. Mom says they are still in shock and wondering how to get through the day as Rosie loved them unconditionally (as they did Rosie). I know all of you will want to keep the Welters on your prayer list as most of you can understand how hard it is to let go of someone so special.

Morning Star's new "Mom" just sent a note saying her name is now "Honey" -- which should be perfect ...... and a new photo of her and her T-Bar brother "Sam". I think they are having a great time exploring and checking out everything on the place. And.... I think they look good together. Thank you, Suzanne
