Due to inclement weather, we will be closed tonight from 6pm on January 22nd through to 6pm on January 23rd.

If you have a pet emergency, please contact Swansboro ER after 6pm tonight at 910-839-5934, or any other surrounding veterinary hospitals in Jacksonville, Raleigh, Wilmington or Greenville.

We hope to return to normal business hours tomorrow evening at 6pm. You are more than welcome to leave us a voice mail but please be advised that we will not be able to return your phone call until January 23rd at 6pm when we reopen.

Pet Highlight: Tigger, a 2yr old domestic shorthair, was seen at EPH at the end of August. He presented for being lethargic and not eating or drinking. Upon arrival, Tigger had a fever of 105.8°F. The normal temperature of a feline is between 100°F and 102.5°F. Unable to determine what the cause of Tigger's fever was, we diagnosed Tigger with a fever of unknown origin. Thankfully, his owners have reported that Tigger is doing much better and no longer has a fever. They have sent us this video of their handsome boy!

We love good news - thanks for the update, Dani Frizzo! I tried posting this on the page but it won’t let me. I just wanted to send you all an update and let you all know how much I appreciate each and every person involved in her care. Tripoli stayed with you all the weekend of August 7th. We confirmed with an MRI at NC State that she did indeed fracture her spine and she was taken immediately to surgery. Here is a video of her walking today. You all are amazing and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
