Throwback Thursday to the day I received my bronze medal 🥉

True was one of the most special horses I have ever had the opportunity to learn from and bond with. A horse of a lifetime.

True Type at the time was owned by Johnson & Wales Equestrian and donated from Lisa Wilcox to the equine program. 🤍

👋 This is a very important memo! 👋 Please make sure you always buckle your blankets and tack into your horse. When they face out they have the risk of getting caught on fences, buckets, and anything else your horse might find.

Hector & I had a lot of great moments this weekend! We not only bumped up a level to first level but we WON 2 of our 4 classes entered! We also placed 3rd & 4th in our other classes! I am so proud of this horse, he continues to amaze me and get stronger and smarter! 2nd/3rd level next year here we come!!

We have a third level horse in the house!!! 🎉🎉 Blu and Rachel made their debut this weekend at GMHA! With lots to improve and nearing the 60% mark each test! Rachel & Blu have come SO far in the past 3 years I’ve been with them and I am so proud of all their progress! It’s not easy never mind doing it on a draft cross!! All the credit in the work goes to these two! Self made 3rd level horse. I am SO proud 🤍🤍🤍 You’re almost there!!! Bronze medal here we come!!! 🥉

Region 8 Open & Championship show at HITS is complete ✅

🏅Hector & Tara showed in Training Level tests 1 & 2 scoring 62.6%, 63.8%, 67.8%! Earning 2 third places! Hector did really well with all the activity and the wind!

🏅Rachel & Blu competed in a HUGE First Level Championships scoring a 61.528% and came in 41 out of 57 riders! She also received a 63.243% at Second Level on Saturday for fun!! I am beyond proud of their continuous hard work!!

🏅Abi & Jet competed in a also large Training Level Championship class earning 12th place with a 65.086% out of 24! Abi also placed First on Friday in her warmup test with a 68.448%!!

First day of showing at Regional Championships is complete! We all had great rides today and had a blast! It was super windy and I’m proud we all made it down the centerlines!!! Congrats to my team and I’ll post all results on Sunday ❤️❤️

We always have soo much fun with Silke when she comes!! 🤍 this time we did two days and Rachel and I made tons of progress! Hector is really starting to get the collection in the trot and canter and Blu is gearing up for his third level debut this fall!!

Stretchy Stretchy! Hector LOVES to start his ride with a nice stretch on the mounting block! We’ve also been working on a bit of foot work with shoulder reach in the front and baby half steps ⭐️ We take about 10 minutes before our rides to warm up with these exercises and stretches and be really seems to enjoy it (especially all the cookies he gets 🍪)

Last show of the season for two of my students going away for college next month! Both winning classes they entered showcasing all their hard work. Gretchen & Emma have been with me from the very beginning. I have loved every second of watching and helping them grow into confident, tactful, and graceful riders. They both work so hard with their riding and academics and I couldn’t be more proud to have them both represent SRFE & Freedom Dressage. I will miss them this school year but will continue to work with their horses 🤍 best of luck to Gretchen at St. Lawrence and Emma at Bentley 🎉

Bradford Equestrian Schooling show is always fun for practice!!! We had an awesome day full of great riding! What a FUN group!
🎉Emma & Blue placed first in both First 1 64.137% & T3 67.931% and also won High Score Champion of Training level!
🎉Gretchen placed 3rd in T3 with a 61.56% and 1st in T2 with a 64.6%
🎉Brooke & Dante placed 5th with a 55% in their training level debut!!

Ever wondered what the farms like? Here’s a few of my favorite pics. We are a short hack through beautiful fields to 700 acres of trails at Winnikinni with water view... We have 3 LARGE fields that are horses are outside in dawn to dusk, well maintained paddocks picked daily, a small but mighty indoor, newly upgraded footing outdoor, and the most fun galloping hill! We kinda think it’s a little slice heaven 🤍

We had a GREAT day today at NEDA Summer Apple Knoll rated show today!

Hector & Tara started the morning nice and early with Training 1 & 2 placing 2nd & 3rd with a 62.5 % & 63.7%!! He loved getting down the centerline today and staying in the ring 🤩

Rachel & Blu showed First 3 and Second 1 scoring a 59.8 & 62.7% placing 5th in both very respectable sized classes!

Abi & Jet showed in a LARGE (17 people) class at Training Level Test 3 and WON with a 72.5%!!! They have now qualified for regionals!!

I am SO proud of our team of horses and riders! We seem to love these hot show days 🙃

Thank you for everyone who supports us 💕 we really have a special team!

(Note that is Abi’s blue ribbon I just pick up the scores 😂)

Looking for someone to groom horses for training rides. 3-5 horses per evening.

Usually Tuesday but sometimes Wednesday & Thursdays are needed! Sometimes 1x a week sometimes 2x a week. Evenings 5:00-8:00/8:30

Dressage & western dressage.

Must:
Have horse experience
Good time management
Attention to detail

Times can be FLEXIBLE. Perfect for high schooler or college student.

Requirements:
Horse experience
Able to administer syringe medication
Follow direction

Smaller barn with well behaved horses and nice people! Paddocks are close to barn and have a Kubota for hay!

Wow! I am truly blessed to have such an amazing team of riders who continuously work hard to support each other and work hard on their goals! All while maintaining the BEST attitudes in some really hot weather!

Sharon missed the photo as she showed super early in the AM 🙃

Sharon and Her Gypsy Vanner Annie made their show debut in western dressage into level! The first test got their feet wet in the ring and the second they rode to a beautiful 64%! Thanks Joan for reading!!

Brooke rode her first Training Level Test 2 on her KWPN Dante beautifully earning a 72.06%

Abi & her QH Jet rode tactful rides even with a few bobbles and scored a 64% in T3 and 61.3% in First 1! Go Abi!!

Emma showed Rachel’s draft cross Blu at her first show in 2 years and received a 72.4% in T3 and a 66.5% in First 1! Winning both classes!

Thanks to Gretchen, Hollie, MJ, Rachel, Carolyn, Sue, Joan, Cheryl, Doug, and everyone else who always supports us and keeps us hydrated/fed 😊 and as always thank you Sarrah for holding down the barn 🤍
