TONI (female tiger) and OLAVI (orange male).
These sweethearts are well adjusted loving babies who are looking for a family to bond with and be the center of their world. Toni is the more outgoing affectionate of the two. Lots of kitten mischief and cuddles galore. Loves sleeping with people and her brother. Olavi is a little more of a reserved gentleman with the sweetest meow that will melt your heart. The second bonded set of siblings from the foursome is a beautiful sister, duo of Sadie and Flower.
These girls are sweet cuddle bugs, typical 14 week old babies, love to play play, are full of energy, have a good appetite, and are looking for a loving family to make them princesses of the castle… and adorn them with all the finest things in life. We will take our time screening through applicants to make sure these kittens are placed in the right homes for them.

Two traps belonging to Animal Rescue Merrimack Valley (ARMV) were taken from 76 Lakeview Ave, Haverhill, MA, the location of the recent house fire. The traps went missing today, September 18th sometime after 8:00 AM. ARMV is trying to help the homeowners retrieve their 2 beloved cats, Cooper and Nala that went missing during the fire on September 10th. We are a small rescue group and those traps are much needed for our volunteer work and are very expensive for us to replace. We can't continue our work without them. Please, if you have any information on the whereabouts of our traps, call the ARMV phone line 978-374-7233 and leave a message or if you took the traps, please return them.

🌸 Rosie came to the sanctuary 10 1/2 years ago. She was born in a elderly womans garage in Methuen. The woman, Jenny, cared for a colony of cats in her garage. Armv TNRd all her cats and then a few years later Jenny decided to sell the house and move to assisted living. The new owners did not want the cats there so we retrapped them all and moved them into the sanctuary. At that time there were about 15 cats. Rosie was born with Cerebellar hypoplasia which makes her a wobbly cat. Rosie is about 13 and she is the only one still living from that group.

Rosie is a favorite of everyone's at the sanctuary. The volunteers are always trying to come up with ways to make her life easier. We keep bedding on the floor and use non-slip mats for her to get to the litter box. Rosie loves clean linen especially if it is washed with Downy. Rosie is one of the friendlier cats and demands pets whenever we go into her room. She lives in a special room that is named after Jenny. Jenny’s room is a little bit quieter and warmer than the rest of the sanctuary. She has a cat friend Felicia who is usually snuggles with Rosie and tries to help keep her clean.

🐱This morning, we received an urgent message about a mother cat and her kittens found in a busy parking lot. With quick action, we were able to safely gather the kittens and patiently waited for the mother to enter the trap, lured by food. Thankfully, she went right in without hesitation!

🐱The work we do is often exhausting, but moments like these remind us how truly rewarding it is. ❤️

🙏🏼 However, we can't do it alone. If you have space in your home and your heart for a cat in need, we are always looking for compassionate foster volunteers. Your help can make all the difference.

‼️REHOMIMG ‼️ This is Linx - he’s 1 year old. He’s very affectionate and playful, super friendly. Would make an amazing pet for someone with kids - he loves kids and other pets. He allows you to pick him up and loves cuddles. He’s wonderful ‼️

Linx is not fixed and the owner has to move out today. She has nowhere to put him and does not want to send him to a shelter…. Please send Lis Jerez a private message if you’re interested. The owner will do a quick home visit and we will need confirmation that he will be fixed🫶🏼 please let me know🫶🏼

✨ SANCTUARY KITTY OF THE WEEK ✨Cat of the week is Newton. Newton was hit by a car in Newton. His lower legs are paralyzed but he still likes to play. The other black cat is his buddy Diesel who eats and sleeps with him. One of our amazing volunteers took Newton home since he needed more care than the sanctuary could provide.

Julie carefully baths him every morning and gave him an opportunity to enjoy his life in a safe environment with love. We don't have anymore information on Newton except he loves to play, he is not in any pain and is thankful that Julie gave him a chance at a better life🩵💜😺

UPDATE: Mandu has gone home to her new home. Thank you Sandra.

Mandu is grieving the loss of her person, her companion, her best friend. She is a timid cat that needs a quiet home. A solo cat, not good with cats or dogs, but she is a loyal cat to her companion. She is 5 years old, spayed and current on her vaccines. She is very sad because she lost her best friend. We are trying to help her find a new home and a new best friend to love and be loved in return. Could that person be you? 🐱 Charlotte couldn’t make it to the adoption event this past Saturday, but she’s still on the lookout for her forever home. She’s an incredibly special girl who deserves someone just as special. At around 6 years old, Charlotte was surrendered and needs a loving home where she can heal, as we believe she may have been abused in the past. Charlotte is very cautious but incredibly sweet once she gets to know you. 🫶🏼🐱🫶🏼

Meet Rubin and Raleigh! We are about 10 weeks old and ready for our forever home! Raleigh has congenital microphthalmia in one eye, but it doesn’t stop him from being a playful, affectionate and confident little man!! His brother Rubin likes to warm up to you a bit but once he does is also very friendly and also loves to play!
