Fresh Source Farms is focused on providing the best locally grown microgreens they can to our local community. Locally Grown Nutritional Powerhouses
Microgreens are anywhere from 4-40 times as nutritious as the fully grown version of the same plant species. They grow greens that even your kids will eat - and their bodies will be thankful too!

Their farm is located in Havre de Grace, MD. Their microgreens are grown indoors, using non-gmo and organic seeds, that are never sprayed with chemicals!

This is almost impossible to believe, but today, we planted tray number TWENTY THOUSAND!!!! 😲😲😲

You see, we're nerds. We track EVERYTHING. Andy was a server admin, database admin, and web developer prior to converting to indoor farming, so we have records of every tray, every seed, every harvest, every package....EVERYTHING.

Thank you to all of YOU for supporting us along the way! Thank you to our incredible team for making this possible, and thank you for your continued support, in so many ways!

20,000 trays is absolutely insane to think, in just 4 short years. It'll only get bigger and better from here! 💪🌱❤️

We had a fantastic long weekend in Ocean City, MD! Congratulations to Chef Jonathon from Ocean 13 Seafood and Steakhouse for taking first place in the cook-off! His winning dish featured our Amaranth, Red Acre Cabbage, and Purple Kohlrabi. We greatly appreciate him choosing to highlight his dish with our microgreens! You can even see a little bit of our handout on the left hand side of the picture of his winning dish! If you're ever in Ocean City, MD, be sure to check out Ocean 13!

Two years in a row, at this event, the winning Chef featured our microgreens on their dish. :-)

AND we'll be back at the Havre de Grace Farmers Market in the spring! 💙🤎🩵 We greatly appreciate all of the love you have always shown us, and we're here to give some of that love back to you! If you're brand new to microgreens, they are baby fruits and vegetables that are grown anywhere from 7-21 days. They taste just like their adult counterparts, but are WAY more nutritious (up to 240 times!), pound for pound! Happy New Year everyone! 2023 was a huge year for our farm, and we can't thank you enough for always supporting us, no matter how crazy things got! :-)

Our farm grew over 5 times in size this year, which lead us to the tough decision of having to close the retail store to make room for the farm to continue to expand. We sincerely hope that having Fresh Source Market open for the time it was, helped open a lot of eyes as to what can be bought right here in our local area! Please continue to support those small businesses as well as many others, into the new year. That sounds like a pretty awesome resolution for 2024. 💪❤️🌱
