There are still many areas in our city suffering from the plague of apathy. ALL of our streams and many neighborhoods are still full of trash and plastic. This has a very negative impact on our kids. Today, several volunteers hit the streets.
2 volunteers filled 3 large bags just walking around a small neighborhood. You can make a big difference by volunteering a few hours once in a while. You will feel good so please join us.
We can do nothing or we can do something. It's our choice.

As yet another year wraps up.
Just wanted to reflect. Hundreds of CAT Volunteers have been so amazing. They relentlessly strive to achieve a litter free home town for all to enjoy.
This is done despite the constant plague of careless littering and general apathy. And while our streets have looked better, we also witness first hand the condition of the streams and stormwater drains throughout the city.
Unfortunately, they are ALL loaded with a variety of plastic. Breaking down and pouring into the Chesapeake. We should not turn a blind eye. Please encourage all people to pick up litter whenever possible. Teach our youth the tremendous value of living litter free. Break the cycle of apathy and give thanks to our creator for the gift of planet earth. 🌏 Join the CAT Club in 2025. Together we can be litter free! Happy New Year!
