Here is an incredible, young gelding i will be listing soon. He’s easy to catch, loads, shoe, ride. He sits in 4 kegs and is racking in the upper teens after not being ridden for a few years. He’s only being listed for sale due to his owner, who adores him, getting pregnant. Oh and he’s everyone’s favorite color… bay roan! YES you can ride color. He’s the type of horse that can sit for months and he’s the same every time. I would trust any type of rider on him. Stay tuned!!

Racking over the bridges at New River in Ivanhoe VA
We have been raising our own “speed racking” “single footing” whatever you want to call them, for about the past 5 years. We had a few in the past ten years on my dad’s farm, but my husband and i have been serious about it for the past 5 years.
I love getting to take in all kinds of crossed up babies from different peoples breeding programs and see what works. I have had them super trotty, super pacey, super natural. There is a lot to learn from people that have been doing this for the past 20+ years. Here is an amazing example of a natural born single footing, future speed racking stallion, with a bright future! He was sired by the late Gambler who is by the famous Saturday Night Action and a full trottingbred mare. He’s coal black, all the hair you could want attached to a beautiful head with hooked ears.

It was a tough decision but i could only pick two c**ts to head to Eminence Missouri with. I broke both of these young horses, headed for a week full of fun. See you all on the trails!
I haven’t been on my page as much as I’d like to be recently. I have every stall full with a two year old in it and they have taken up 150% of my time. I just want to say thank you to all of my clients who are trusting in me to take care of their horses. I really enjoy these babies!

I’m a little slower than most trainers but in the long run i have always had a good experience with the first few rides. Atlantis was a little more on the nervous side but has come around really well. I’m super proud of this three year old. She’s owned and loved by Amanda Gilliland!
