We're starting to get horses on our list for this years castration clinic. It will be on September 21st 2024 here at the clinic. Horses must be pre-registered, so call if you have a stallion or stud c**t in need of gelding.

Happy 4th of July to all our great clients and patients. We wanted to give you a heads up that we will have normal hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week, but will be closed on the 4th of July. We will resume normal hours again for Friday July 5th.

Remember that the monthly heartworm preventatives also deworm your pet monthly. Heartworm is a bigger health concern, but intestinal parasites are FAR more common, and just plain gross!

One of the best things you can do for a puppy is good socialization. Think of you pets future and what they may see. Consider the variety of ages and ethnicities of people. Things like hats, umbrellas, wheelchairs, strollers. Activities such as car rides, boat rides, and even plane rides. get your pup out there to see the world so that they are not scared or anxious seeing those things as adults!

The ticks took advantage of the nice weather all winter.
We've been seeing a LOT of Lyme cases lately! Make sure to use flea/tick prevention NOW, and we also have a vaccine that can help prevent infection.

We're loving this warm weather, but unfortunately the ticks are loving it too! They don't consult a calendar to check when to start moving around, it just needs to be the right temperature. Make sure you keep your pets protected! We've already seen Lyme disease cases in the new year!
