I have heard they bred through the wire as long as I can remember i have been raising rabbits for over 50 years and when someone would say that I always thought that there was a reasonable explanation well yesterday when I went to feed i had a huge surprise my doe had 3 babies which wasn't possible because I haven't bred her i had to wean her last litter at 4 1/2 weeks because she started going down hill i took her and put her in a 2 hole hanging cage nothing has been next to her well my friend brought me a few rabbits back and one was a very young Jr buck i put him in the hole next to my doe and now 1 month later I have babies there isn't anyway he can get in her cage they have 1/2 inch wire between them all i can say is he is a good shot because I am still in disbelief lol

My little doe is almost 3 weeks old now she looks to be opal in color she needs a cute name she Wil not be available
