The sun is shinning bright just like our Cherries and their futures ☀️ Today they turn 3 weeks old! They have all opened their eyes and are hard at work practicing using their legs. They are gradually spending more and more time exploring and interacting. We’ve had a change in availability!!! It’s time to introduce Cherry x Curry’s retirement litter The Cherries! We are beyond emotional about these cuties as they mark the end of a beautiful chapter. Not only are they the last litter for this year but also the last litter for Curry and Cherry. Both of their parents were amazing additions to our programs and blessed us and our families with such perfect babies. It is now time for them to move on to have amazing retired lives with their forever families 🥹. I will cherish each moment I have with this litter as I see their personalities bloom and showcase little glimpses of their mom and dad.

Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 Hope everyone has a great time and stays safe! I know all of you have been desensitizing your pets to firework sounds all week right?!🫣
Here are some tips to make today as smooth as you can for your pet.

1. Make sure microchip information is up to date!

2. Have collars with ID tags on all your pets. Yes even if they are also microchipped.

3. Spend time with your pet earlier in the day getting their energy out. Walks, brain games, short training session.

4. Pick a safe space for them to be during the party & fireworks. A bedroom or bathroom with the shades closed. Or their crate for added security.

5. Play music at a higher volume to drown out some of the noise outside.

6. Provide soothing treat options such as long lasting chews or frozen Kong toys.

7. If bringing your pet somewhere with you keep it on a leash AT ALL TIMES. Harness preferred so they don’t slip out of their collars if scared.

8. Have fun and be mindful of runaway pets that may try to look for help.

9. Share this post with friends so they can be prepared too 🤗

Our Coffee litter rocked their vet check and are one step closer to heading off to their forever homes. Big shoutout to for the amazing settle mat! It was perfect for keeping our littles calm and off of the table for added safety 🤗

After years in the making we are so exited to introduce Maple x Rye’s Coffee litter! These little cuties are beyond perfect 🤩 Expected size 6-9 lbs. They are a week old and thriving!

Our Desert babies are 3 weeks old! They opened their eyes and ears, have become so mobile and playful. It’s amazing to see their little personalities start to shine. They are expected to be 9-12 lbs deep red.

We had a great day at the vet today with love birds Maple and Rye. We saw 4 babies on the xray! We have only a few more days before we get to meet them. Wish Maple good luck on her first chance at motherhood 🥰

Our first litter from the next generation of Premier Poodles has officially been confirmed! Miss Maple and Rye are expecting a few little chicken nuggets 🤗 this will be Maple’s first litter, and we cannot wait to see how she does as a mom. If she is anything like her grandma, paprika, or mother nutmeg, we know she is going to be phenomenal.

This little cutie has so much personality packed into her tiny little 6 lbs body. She is equal parts bossy and snuggle bug haha basically this is cherry’s world we just live in it. We are so grateful to have her with us and continue her bloodline with her daughter Apple one day 🥰

Ever wonder what we are up to while we have no litters?? Well first thing is we sleep! Haha raising puppies is hard work. Long days and sleepless nights tending to our tiny little puppies making sure all their needs are met can really take a toll not only on me but our adult pack as well.

I like to call our puppy free times our “Adult season” some times it’s longer than others but we take full advantage of it. So far we have caught up on everyone’s vaccines and yearly check ups. Finished our OFA testing on the next generation. And focused on one on one training to brush up on our skills. This is the time when we can take our adults out and about to socialize and have fun without the added risk of brining something home to the puppies so that’s always fun 😊.

Although we make sure to provide the best care for our pack all year around, adult season is a special time to strengthen the bond we have with each dog and enjoy the activities we sometimes don’t have the chance to do other times. Now we are all recharged and excited to get prep started for our upcoming puppy season! Tons of fun and cute puppy content coming really soon! 🤗 who is your favorite in our pack?

We are excited to announce Nutmeg and Rollo have honeymooned ❤️ This amazing pairing will bring not only amazing looking puppies but even better temperaments. We expect large toy/small miniatures 10-12 lbs, deep red, AKC limited registration to pet homes. I will be taking my breeder pick of female to continue to improve Nutmeg’s bloodlines in our program. Deposits will be taken after pregnancy ultrasound confirmation. Stay tuned because these babies will not last long 🔥🔥

It’s been a very special Valentine’s Day for Nutmeg and Rollo 🥰 we are beyond excited for this pairing. We chose this amazing stud in hopes of keeping back a female for our program to continue nutmegs legacy after she retires. Rollo not only brings the looks but his temperament is beyond amazing 🤩 thank you for working with us specially during our tight schedule, we truly appreciate it! This litter is expected to be dark red, miniature poodles 9-12 lbs for go home end of June. Pregnancy confirmation in 30 days 🤗

Look who is starting to take shape 🥰 Miss Apple formerly Glory from our Cherry x Curry litter is maturing so well. We have high hopes for this little one to carry the torch of our tiny toy lines once her mama Cherry retires. There are still many tests and milestones to pass but so far so good 🤞🏽. She is 6 months old 4.5 lbs and has a sweet gentle temperament. Who is excited to see Apple join our program 🤗

Years of his family doing research asking questions being on our waitlist for the perfect match. Years of hard work, sweat and tears trying my best to constantly improve our program and keep raising the bar on the quality of our puppies. Does your dog stay in the house when your door is open? This is probably one of our most enforced commands as it literally can save their lives! 1. Start of by practicing your stay command indoors in an open space. Walking away a few steps at a time while your pet stays put. Then walk back to them and treat if they stayed. 2. Increase distance and time that they must stay & at first always walk back to them to treat. Once they are good at it you can call them to come to you or use your release word of choice. 3. Repeat training this time using one of your doors inside such as to a bedroom. If they walk forward or pass the door use your body to walk towards them as natural pressure to backup and start over. 4. Be patient!! Practice often. Once they understand what you are asking of them use a back door to the yard if you have on and transition your way to your front door. ** Disclamer: We are not training professionals, I am sharing the methods we use here at Premier Poodle that work for us. It’s #trainingtuesday !! We use group learning as one of our tools to teach the puppies patience, increase their attention span and have the adults show them what to do (or not to do 😅). Having litters is very time consuming with all the activities and cleaning and attention needed for the puppies and their mom.
