As we all prepare for fun times this Thursday, remember that the Fourth of July leads to many pets being lost from their families. The fireworks that we find fun and enjoyable, are very scary to our furry friends both big and small. Take the necessary precautions to keep your pets safe. Keep your dogs and cats inside. Horses can also get spooked and injure themselves so keep them in pastures with safe fences or in safe stalls in your barn.

If your pet is very fearful of load noises, there are medications that can be used to keep them from panicking. If you are an established current patient, give us a call today to see if we can get your furbaby some medications to help keep them safe.

We will be open for normal business hours today and tomorrow, but we will be CLOSED Thursday July 4th so that our team can celebrate with their families. We will open back for normal business hours on Friday.

Cheers to 2 years!!!!!

I can't believe today marks 2 years of being open for business. The last two years have been a wild ride. We are so glad to be here and to have the team we have to help serve our community.

This past week we had the pleasure of hosting a group of students from SALT Academy Co-Operative. These students have interests in veterinary medicine so we showed them the inner workings of our clinic, went through some cases we had in hospital that day, went over bandaging techniques, some laboratory testing we do in house, and the students had a chance to ask Dr. Tucker questions about pursuing careers in vet med. It was a fun break to our busy day.

Shout out to our awesome team members for braving the ice and making sure our boarding patients were taken care of! We had a three women crew up there this morning and a two back this afternoon taking care of everyone, calling all of our appointments to reschedule the ones that were supposed to be today, and checking on some sick babies we saw yesterday since we wouldn't be there today if they needed to call. Love our team! Here are this afternoons crew with their ride there this afternoon 🤣

As for tomorrow, we will be delaying opening until noon tomorrow so that *hopefully* the roads will thaw enough from the sun being up for it to be safe enough for our whole team to make it there.

Unfortunately due to the icy road conditions we will not be able to open today 😔 we will update about tomorrow later but we may have to delay opening tomorrow. Our appointments for the day will be getting calls soon about rescheduling. We do have a couple of our close by team members making the trek up to the clinic to make sure all of our boarders are taken care of.

Due to the anticipated winter weather conditions, we will be closing today at 3pm to make sure our team can get home before any icing on roads happens.

We will also DELAY opening tomorrow Tuesday January 16th until 9 am so that we can see where road conditions are. We will post an update and keep in contact with our scheduled appointments tomorrow if that plan has to change once we are able to see what this storm is actually going to do.

Hayden Veterinary Clinic wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas as we head into the Christmas weekend! We hope everyone has a great Christmas with your family and friends both 2 and four legged!

Reminder on our holiday hours. We will be open with normal business hours today and tomorrow. We will be closed December 25th and December 26th so that our team can enjoy some time with their families celebrating this great holiday.

If you need any medication refills before next week, please give us a call today so that we can get everything filled for you to pick up by tomorrow.

Its been a Christmas filled week for us. This past Tuesday we participated in the Hayden town parade (pictures to come) and Saturday was our HVC Clinic Christmas party!! We had some fun over the weekend celebrating another great year! We didn't have the whole crew there since there is so many things going on for everyone this time of year. But when we let all the kids jump into the mix, it looks like quite the crew LOL!!
