Dear Mountain Mutts customers we are sad to say but we are closing down the RETAIL SIDE. Due to our volume increase in the salon we decided the salon has more importance.
So all products are 25%-50% off this does not include dry dog food or dry cat food or treats. We will still carry treats and grooming products in the salon.

Hello, Mountain Mutts and Such clients! We are in the beginning of shedding and shave down season..so with that being said space and appointments are very limited. SO it is very important that you try to be on time to your appointment so we can give your dog the time it needs, and not get behind due to someone being late, we always give a 15 min grace time before your notified about the appointment you are late for, if I get no text or call back that your coming or need to reschedule then a late fee will be added if you show up late, and a full groom charge will be added to your next visit if you were a no show. Your business is VERY important to us, but with such a tight schedule I need to be able to pass on to another person who is on the waiting list your appointment if you can't make it.

Alright doggie peeps we have alot of fresh smoke marrow beef bones ...home smoked ! This is a local rancher! We cut and smoked these bones here at our home for your pup! Sizes vary so prices vary.. but please treat your pup with something yummy! It will keep them busy for hours and it's good for their teeth!

Just let you all know that Mountain Mutts and Such will be having a price increase on groomed dogs, with the cost of shampoos, and cost of our tools increasing we have to accommodate, this will be in effect after the 1st of the year, we will try not to kill your pocket books but we gotta do what we need to do.

YAY!!! Thank you everyone for such awesome support! We are honored to have won this and will continue to provide a quality groom everytime!
We want all our canine parents to know that we are doing our very best to be proactive against this mysterious canine virus that's going around. Lots of cleaning between dogs and trying to not let dogs intermingle to much. We ask that you make sure your dogs are up to date on ALL vaccines including Bordetella before coming to the salon. It is also important to pick up your dog(s) quickly after we contact you to let you know your pup is finished. Less chance of mingling with dogs arriving, and the quicker we can mop the floor and sanitize our equipiment. Groom shops are set to the same standards of cleaning and sanitation as veterinary hospitals and get inspected regularly by the state. If anyone has a dog that is coughing or showing signs of illness please keep them home and contact your veterinarian immediately, then call us to reschedule your appointment.
Your dogs safety and well-being is our utmost concern.

Yes it's been a crazy week at Mountain Mutts...we have been crazy busy and are trying our best! My bathing assistant Maddy is training to be a groomer ( aka my mini me) I trust her as she is learning from me so I hope everyone welcomes her and feels as I do..and she will also be such a great groomer and addition to our groom shop!
Mountain Mutts and Such has new hours Tues-Fri 9am -4:30 pm and Sat 9am- 3pm. Sunday's and Mondays we are closed. There will be some acceptions in the schedule due to weather, Holidays, and family vists. For more info please call the store at 970-761-3180

Sorry folks if we close a bit early on the retail side, it's been a rough week in the groom shop..and it primarily is my hubby and I that run everything..we are tired at 6 days a week but...we have chosen to take Sunday and Mondays off from here on out. But please if you need dog food or treats let us know through messenger we live right around the corner and can meet you and take care of your pet needs.
Nothing should ever be looked at as an inconvenience but just a good small town convince. We love all of you and your furbabies!
Sometimes I forget as a groomer..why I really became a groomer..its not really the people but the dogs that walk into my salon and my life.. these pups really become part of my family and life..grooming is a roller coaster of challenges....with learning how patient a person can be and understanding that owners are just as challenging somedays. But when you see the happy butt wiggles and the tongue kisses during a dry session..its all worth it
There are just a few days left!! We have been very thankful for our Routt County community..and all the other surrounding communities that come see us at Mountain Mutts and Such. We are excited to see what the next year brings us!!
