🐾👑 June 24: Cat World Domination Day 👑🐾
Let’s not kid ourselves—cats have been calling the shots for thousands of years. Today, we simply make it official.

From the temples of Ancient Egypt to the top of your freshly folded laundry, felines have long perfected the art of quiet control. World domination? Please. That ship sailed when your cat convinced you to share your pillow, refill a half-full food bowl, and accept that your laptop is actually a heated throne.

And yet… we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Today is also a purr-fect reminder of how many incredible cats are still waiting to rule a home of their own. If your life could use a little world domination (and a lot of love), visit us and meet your future feline overlord. 👑🐈‍⬛💕

She'll be stepping into the limelight tomorrow at CENTURY 21 Beutler & Associates. Her shelter sister Tacoma, has graciously passed the torch.

This event brings shelter dogs to Sherman Avenue shops during ArtWalk, offering a unique opportunity to meet potential new furry friends!

babies...looking for their forever homes.

Vicky Nelson, CAC development director, said they adopted six dogs through Fridays with Fido last year and one so far this year, with the first one in May. CAC will have dogs downtown during ArtWalk in July, September, and October.

We’re sending a heartfelt THANK YOU to our friends at Coeur d' Alene Dog Fanciers who are hosting a HUGE yard sale to help us stock up on much-needed dog food. Their generosity (and yours!) directly supports the animals in our care, and we’re so grateful. 💛
