Our friends at Franktronics, Inc. collected donations from the community during their annual Holiday Light Show for GMHS' Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic. Frank Farmer presented the donation of $1,312 to Cassandra Six, Clinic Director. A huge thank you to Franktronics and all who gave to help the animals! ❤

While most of us think of dogs and cats when it comes to GMHS, there are other pets here searching for love, too – small animals! Guinea pigs, rabbits, and roosters are currently homeless at the shelter and dreaming of their forever homes. January 20-26, GMHS is allowing small pet adopters to name their own adoption fee! Stop by GMHS to meet your new lil critter! ❤

At GMHS, our volunteers go the extra mile to ensure the health and happiness of each pet in our care. Volunteers can find themselves walking dogs, cuddling cats, folding laundry, handling animals at events, and so much more! Did you know Cupcake is our longest cat resident? She has been looking for her forever family since December of 2022 when she was caught as a stray. Wondering how she got her name? She went into a trap to get a cupcake. 🧁

Cupcake is a nervous kitty but she loves other cats! She is often seen sleeping and playing with the other cats in the condo. She would do best to adopt either with another cat, or there be a cat in the household. Could you be the family Cupcake has been waiting for? 💕

Ready for another happy outcome? Willow the cat came into our care last night after being found stuck in a fence. It turns out she had been missing since December 3rd! Her owner has been looking for her since then, and luckily saw a post on our stray listings page. They have been happily reunited! ❤
