Christina primarily works at our sister practice, Summit Veterinary Care, but you may have met her on a few house calls over the past year! Regardless of whether or not you know Christina personally, please join us in congratulating her in passing her VTNE - a huge accomplishment, and the final stepping stone between her and her Veterinary Technician license! Congratulations, Christina - we are so very proud of you!
Some days at Summit feel a little extra special. Today is one of those days. 💜 🎉 💜
After more than two years with the Summit team as a Veterinary Assistant and graduating with her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Veterinary Technology this summer, today Christina passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) - the final piece she needed to earn her LVT license!
This is a HUGE accomplishment. The VTNE is a challenging national exam, and only about 65% of candidates pass on their first attempt. Christina worked incredibly hard to get here, balancing her studies with caring for our patients and continuing to grow as a veterinary professional. We never had any doubts that she could do it! We’ve watched Christina grow, learn, push herself, and show up for our patients and our team every single day. She has already been an invaluable part of Summit, and now she’s earned the letters that reflect the knowledge and dedication she brings to her work. 🥹
Christina has been dedicated to animal care since 2018, and her passion goes far beyond the walls of Summit. From her love of rescue animals and wildlife rehabilitation to her commitment to learning and caring for the world around her, she brings so much heart to everything she does.
Her kindness and care doesn't just extend to animals. Christina is incredibly smart, endlessly funny, kind, thoughtful, and someone her coworkers naturally look to for knowledge, inspiration, a listening ear, and guidance. She embodies everything we value at Summit, and we can't express how incredibly proud of her we are.
Her official LVT license should arrive in the next week or two, but today, we’re celebrating the achievement, the hard work, and the incredible person behind it.
Congratulations, Christina. We are SO, SO proud of you. You earned this. 🎉🐾💜
