As our dogs enter their senior years, comfort becomes an especially important part of their daily routine. Cozy beds, familiar surroundings, and regular wellness care can all help support their quality of life as they age.

Senior pets are often experts at adapting to gradual changes, which is why routine examinations are so valuable. Monitoring mobility, weight, pain levels, and overall health allows us to address concerns early and help our beloved companions stay comfortable for as long as possible.

This handsome 2-year-old domestic shorthair was more than happy to help demonstrate the power of a good treat. Positive reinforcement can make veterinary visits a more comfortable experience, helping pets build confidence and create positive associations with their care.
