Started Leash training with Chica.

This is Chica. She is a poodle. We already got her DNA health testing done. Once she passes all her breeding health testing she will be a future momma.

First day of leash training and she just laid their refusing to move.
With encouragement she trusted me and we where on our way to explore. My boys did some fishing while I walked the dogs.

While our adorable pups usually steal the spotlight it’s our adult dogs who allow us to have a successful breeding program.

Part of being an ethical and responsible breeder is knowing when to retire a dog. This does hurt and is a loss for our program but is necessary. As much as I would love to keep him it wouldn’t be fair to Ben. He needed a quiet home where he can feel comfortable and safe.
With our family growing with grandkids, our home has become too loud for Ben. When the grandkids came over he would find a quiet place to rest in a backroom. At times he became more fearful of little ones. I don’t blame him at all as kids do tend to be louder while playing and having fun and Ben is so small at almost 8lbs.
As a responsible breeder I choose to honor Ben. I took my time to find his forever home. I spent the last few months interviewing families and drove out to meet 5 different families so that I can see for myself if it was the right home for Ben. I wonderful lady in Napa had reached out to me and I talked to her on Facebook messenger for a few months and on the phone too. We also facetime so that I can see her home. After keeping in touch for a few months I decided she is the perfect home for Ben. Ben has settled in and enjoys his daily walks. His new mom sends me pictures often and it just warms my heart to see him and his new adventures.

Female Aussiedoodle This little girl is low energy and very human focused. She has fun running around to play with her brothers and once she is tired out she finds a quiet spot to nap. She loves to be on your lap to cuddle and watch tv. She is a curious girl but also cautious. She will need a family that will continue to empower her, always cheer her on and not enable her with new situations. She is estimated to be 10lbs.
