Hello everybody !! It’s been a long time since we’ve updated everyone on here about what’s going on with our ratto’s? We’ve been discussing the future aspects of the page and about the growth, we finally hit 100 supporters and we are so grateful for each and everyone of you looking forward towards more of our loving warm fuzzy ratties! But unfortunately, we cannot currently keep up with the funds that comes with raising loving litters like you’ve all come to know from us.
We are sadly going into hiatus and halting our selective breeding until we find stability with owning a business like this and the responsibilities that come with it.
We apologize for prolonging this must-needed update on here.
We are very heartbroken that we have to stop breeding such loving babies for the rattie community, it takes a lot of: time, energy and money. It’s the ugly truth to let everyone know that the fee’s we receive from each adoption isn’t enough to sustain this business in a healthy manner, due to the high maintenance of constantly purchasing the necessities to care n give our selective litters and our ratties that create these beautiful babies the best, it gets very pricey and we don’t make back the money we put into them.
We are selective breeders and want to give everyone who’s had rats or hasn’t, the best experience when owning ratties! They’re one of the sweetest animal’s on our planet that has had the worse reputations, and we The Fuzzy Den desire everyone who seeks ratto’s to have the best experience with them. Breaking the habitual prejudice views that ratties have among our kind.
Even though we are pausing our breeding, we’ll continue to upload content about our ratties that made this page possible cause we love our boggling babies so much! 🥺❤️
The future of the business will go in the direction of much needed merchandise we rat lovers want, we’ll be posting information soon about opening commission slots for pet rat portraits to start off this beginning to help fund our return of breeding our well known warm fuzzy babies! We’ll be posting examples of art for everyone sometime tomorrow evening and more info about this change!
