ather was a machinist and my mother worked for a cookie company. While still working as a bartender in the evenings, I attended California State University, Hayward where I earned a B.A. in Psychology with a Political Science Minor. She graduated magna cm laude and earned the Outstanding Student award from the psychology department. I then moved to Los Angeles where I earned my law degree from Southwestern University. I returned to the Bay Area and finished my legal education at Santa Clara University. I clerked for Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and the Santa Cruz County Public Defender's Office, Alameda County Public Defender's Office and then under supervision of private attorneys. After passing the bar exam, I opened my own practice in San Leandro in 1996 and later moved to Hayward. I now provides criminal defense representation all over the East Bay. Practice-
If someone is in jail, collect calls from Santa Rita and other local jails are accepted. If you receive a call from a friend or family member who is incarcerated, please obtain as much identifying information as possible, including: date of birth, prisoner finder number, and correct spelling of the true legal name and call immediately. Hiring an attorney before bail is set or posted will in most cases result in a reduction of the bail fee.
