Workindoggz went to in Las Vegas! We all learned so much, saw some new products and even some unique animals.
It was our first year attending this fabulous trade show and grooming competition. Already looking forward to attending next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, etc…!

Today is Sienas last day at Workindoggz!

Tomorrow she matriculates and will start professional training to become a service dog or facility dog. Over the next 6-9 months she will work hard on learning tasks that she will use in her career. Examples of tasks she could learn would be, turning on and off lights, opening doors, pushing buttons, picking up dropped items, and even alerting her handler to sounds in the environment.

Siena has been working hard over the past year and a half to reach this point. She has learned over 30 commands that she will continue to build on with professional training. Updates will be shared over the course of her training and until she picks her final path.

Wish her luck as she continues on to her next adventure!

Congratulations to Vega and Siena for placing in the Niles dog show! 🏅Vega got first place as MOST HANDSOME dog ANDDDD first place overall!! Siena got second place as PRETTIEST DOG! Congrats to both pups!

We had such a great time meeting everyone and checking out all the other vendors. Looking forward to next year and we encourage you to check it out!

✨Before & After✨
Meet Yuki! She was found abandoned at a car park and then spent some time at Hayward Animal Shelter. Eventually Furry Friends Rescue took her into their program and she was placed into a loving foster home.

She is about a year old and will be spayed prior to adoption. She’s very loving towards humans and can be a dominant dog, so having her as an only dog in an adult only home is ideal! She can be placed with another dog but it’s important that it’s the right dog for her. She is potty trained and up to date on vaccines. To find out more about Yuki, check out Furry Friends Rescue

Meet Frodo ✨ swipe for a before and after…

Frodo was found running around downtown Hayward and was brought the the shelter. Unfortunately, his family did not come looking for him and he was placed up for adoption. began looking for a rescue to take him into their program so he could be placed in a foster home and eventually adopted. agreed to take him and reached out for us to groom him and get him looking great! Quickly after his visit, his fosters family decided to keep him as their forever pet. Congratulations to Frodo on your forever 💕🐾

Happy solar eclipse day ☀️
Although California won’t be viewing a total solar eclipse, there will still be plenty to see! We encourage you to SAFELY check it out. The next eclipse won’t be happening for another 20 years.
According to Dr. Jerry Klein, the chief veterinary officer at the AKC, dogs don’t naturally look or stare up at the sun! Especially true in the areas that will only be viewing a partial eclipse, it shouldn’t be much different that a regular day.
