ONE YEAR.

We can't believe it's already been 1 year for us at The Groom Room! It's even harder to believe how we've grown. We are still here because of YOU! (more importantly, because of your precious dogs!) Thank you for trusting your sweet pups with us and we can’t wait to meet more. One year down—many more to go!

Also, we must honor our father, Shannon Thompson, because he had the initial idea of The Groom Room and put us on the path that opened our shop. He was our biggest cheerleader from the start. Without him, we wouldn't be here at all. We lost Shannon just two weeks ago, however, now he is watching over us from Heaven as we hope to keep making him proud.

It's been such a busy year and we coudnt be more thankful for each of you and for all of your support! Looking back, we are humbled by our blessings; looking forward, we know that each pup we serve is an important little (and sometimes giant) "blessing in the making". We strive to ensure that the time we spend with your dog is a loving and positive experience for them.

With the weather warming up, it’s officially flea season 🪳 Fleas are active year round but the most active during the warmer months!

PLEASE make sure your dogs are up to date on their flea and tick prevention to keep your dogs from contracting and spreading them.

If your dog has fleas and they have a grooming appointment, PLEASE let us know so we can keep them isolated until they’ve been treated. There is also an automatic up-charge for flea treatments.

We only have a few more appointments available for May! Don’t wait last minute to get your pups scheduled!! It is highly recommended to get on a 2,4,6, or 8 week schedule (or let us know 2-3 weeks before they need grooming) since openings go quick!! I’m sure you’ve all heard of the Upper Respiratory Infection going around. We have not had any cases with dogs within our facility and would like your help in keeping it that way!

🐶As always please keep your dog home if they are exhibiting coughing, wheezing, gagging, hacking, runny eyes or runny nose. Please don’t hesitate to reschedule!

🐶Please make sure your dogs are updated on all their vaccinations!! This is a serious illness going around and your dogs deserve the same care as we do as humans.

🐶Any dogs who exhibit symptoms need to be quarantined for at least 4 weeks or if they’ve been exposed but are not showing symptoms need at least 2 weeks of quarantine.

If you have any questions please reach out to our team. The health of your pups are important to us and we wish for them all to be happy and healthy!
