Rockin Double A Farms Lessons and Training
Lessons
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced lessons offered. Western discipline only.
Must be at least 4 years old to begin lessons.
Lessons are $30 per hour if you have your own horse and $35 an hour if you use one of mine.
Lessons cover Safety, basic skills, ground work, bathing, grooming, desensitizing, speed events, trail riding etiquette and more.
People who want or need more time each week can do 5 hours for $100, the time can be split into different days of the week.
I will give sibling discounts. Ask me about them.
Requirements for lessons
If you have your own horse:
I will need a copy of the up to date Coggins.
You must ride in long pants and riding boots.
You will need your own saddle, saddle pad, and bridle.
If you have sports boots, please bring them and use them during lessons, it will protect your horse’s legs.
Bring your own water bucket for your horse.
If you are using one of my horses:
I will provide everything for the horse.
You must ride in long pants and riding boots
I do not require a helmet but strongly recommend one. Safety first!
Horse Training
Horse Training will include ground work, round pen work, basic riding, and basic commands.
30 days for $600
60 days for $1100
90 days for $1600
This price includes hay, feed and water, stall care as well as the training.
If you would like specialized training such as barrel racing training, roping, etc prices will be adjusted accordingly.
Clinics and Camps
I will offer Saturday Clinics. The price for Saturday Clinics will be $100 per participant. I will work with you for family discounts if you have multiple children, a spouse, etc who would like to attend with you. I will schedule about a month in advance so everyone has a chance to sign up for it.
I will offer Summer Camps for Kids and Adults. The camps will be 5 days long. The cost will be $300 per student. The cost will include the training, some fun stuff, meals and awards at the end of the week. The students are welcome to spend the night or come each day.
