We hope this message finds you and your furry friends well. We're writing to inform you of some important changes happening at our veterinary clinics that will impact our services temporarily.
Firstly, we are excited to announce that we will be transitioning to a new veterinary software system. This move is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our medical records and workflow, ultimately leading to improved patient care and communication with you, our valued client.
As part of this transition, please note the following closure dates:
Heath Location: Closed on April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Rowlett Location: Closed on April 1st but will resume regular business hours for the remainder of the week.
For those with appointments scheduled on April 2nd or later, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding during that week. Our team will be undergoing training and implementing the new software, and we anticipate there may be some hiccups during this process. We assure you that we will do our best to minimize any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation during this time.
Here are a few important points to keep in mind:
Please plan ahead for refills of medications and pet foods to ensure you have an adequate supply during the closure period. If your pet is currently in our care for boarding, rest assured that our Rowlett location will still be available for pickup on Monday, April 1st.
Once again, we want to express our gratitude for your continued support and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these changes, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your beloved pets. We look forward to serving you with our improved services soon.
Warm regards,
Christen Lynch
Hospital Administrator
Happy Watermelon Day! 🍉
Did you know that watermelon is a safe and healthy treat for most dogs, as it is low in calories and fat while being high in vitamins A, B6, and C, as well as potassium?
It also contains a good amount of water, which can help keep dogs hydrated, especially during hot weather!
July is #LostPetPreventionMonth.
Remember that a lost pet has a better chance of being returned home if they always wear a collar and an ID tag with your name and contact information.
Make sure to take measures to keep your pets safely with you!
Happy #NationalParentsDay to all of the great parents out there! 👏
This friendship is fur real 🐶
Who else is excited about Summer? ☀️
Surfing into the weekend 😎
We have followed the CDC recommendations throughout the entire pandemic. We will continue to watch the county's transmission rate and if either Rockwall County or Dallas County move into the HIGH transmission zone, we will go back to masking for clients and staff until it drops again.
As always, we thank our amazing clients for their support as we make adjustments based on our level of comfort.
Our new "rules" are below:
*If you are wearing a mask, we will wear a mask out of respect and for your safety.
*If you would like to remain curbside, we will be happy to provide service to and from your car to limit your exposure to our staff and other clients.
*We will still limit visits to 2 clients per visit for all visits
*We are still encouraging credit vs cash/checks (partly for cleanliness but partly to avoid needing to send team members to the bank for deposits leaving us short staffed)
