Jack (Bandersnatch Many Hands Make Light Work) had a great weekend at the Hunt Country Cluster at Doswell, VA - going Winners Dog and Best of Winners both days. Thanks to Sarah Avila for helping out with handling - she makes him look super! Our home-bred girl, Cricket Hill Moonstruck (aka Smitten) also took Winner’s Bitch and Best of Winners on Friday - win photo pending!

Had a wonderful time at the BTCA National Specialty at Purina Farms in Grey Summit, MO. The show committee did a fabulous job! The judge, Graham Pickering, from the UK had a monumental job judging between some of the best Borders in the US. We were thrilled that our Cricket Hill Moonstruck (aka Smitten) won the Amateur Owner Handled Bitch class; and Cricket Hill Shoot for the Moon (aka Pi), took 4th in a huge Bred-By Adult Bitch class. So proud of my girls!!

Our hearts are broken. Yesterday we said our final goodbye to our beloved Mouse, Ch Cricket Hill Danger Mouse JE NA NAJ TKA CGC V. She was my once in a lifetime heart dog who gave her everything for me. She arrived into this world into my hands, and left in my arms. There is a hole in our hearts today that will never be fillled. Her memory will live on in her children and grandchildren.. .

The "Over The Moon” litter has arrived on the show scene. Cricket Hill Moonstruck, aka Smitten, won the 9-12 month Puppy Bitch class; and her litter sister, Cricket Hill Shoot For The Moon, aka Pi, took 3rd in the same class at the Border Terrier Club of America National Specialty show in Wilmington, OH. So proud of my girls on their FIRST EVER show experience. Thank you, judge Wayne Bond, for seeing past their puppy antics and giving us this honor!
