Impact of the Horse 2024 is ready to kickoff tomorrow with our BLM Check-In, Hip Numbers & Settling into New Surroundings at Sage Creek Equestrian.

Our Event will begin on Friday & Saturday, November 8th & 9th, at 10am.

Our Auction/Adoption Event will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, November 9th, immediately following our 2024 Mustang Challenge Awards Ceremony.

Meet our judges

My name is Darby Savoca and I am from De Beque, Colorado. I have had a love of horses from an early age and got my first horse when I was 11. As a teenager I rode in a side saddle drill team with my mom at rodeos for 5 years, and through that was introduced to dressage. I began showing western dressage in 2018, competing at the WDAA World Championship show in 2019 and winning two world championship freestyle titles. In 2020 I took over running dressage shows in my hometown and have since expanded to managing 8 shows a year, both at home and around the western states and am a Level 3 USEF Show Secretary. I love both riding and driving horses! I have several clients that I coach in western dressage, and I have my own Friesian Sporthorse that I am showing in both classical and western dressage. I am currently Central Office Manager for the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society. I met Jim and Donnette Hicks in 2023 when I began running their Sage Creek dressage shows, and am so excited to be involved in The Impact of the Horse!
