💔 In Loving Memory 💔
With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news that our sweet American Cream Draft filly, born June 4th, passed away during emergency surgery today. She arrived three weeks early, and despite the tireless efforts of our incredible veterinary team and everyone here at KB HORSES, we were unable to save her.
Carried and delivered by our beloved surrogate mare Ruby Rose, this little filly came into the world with quiet strength and the softest, sweetest spirit. As pioneers in the ICSI breeding process, we knew this journey would bring both hope and risk. We gave her everything we had, and in her brief time with us, she gave us so much love in return.
Though her time on earth was heartbreakingly short, she will forever be remembered as the very first foal of our American Cream Draft program. Gentle, curious, and deeply cherished; she began a legacy of heart, courage, and purpose that will continue to grow in her honor.
We are profoundly grateful to the veterinary team who fought so hard for her and to all who have supported this dream from the very beginning. While we mourn this loss, we are also keeping close watch over the other two little c**ts born just last night. They’re not out of the woods yet, but we’re cheering them on and they are holding strong, and we remain hopeful.
This filly changed us. She made us better and she helped us believe. And she will never, ever be forgotten.
Thank you for walking with us through both the beauty and the heartbreak of this journey your support means everything to us.
