The land owners I hunt for appreciate the fact that I simply do not care about a whitetail. We always had dogs growing up I but managed to squeeze in hunting whatever season was open. Many many years ago I laid down my compound from chasing Midwestern whitetail, sold my bass boat, quit hunting everything else and started hunting one thing and hunt it year round-Pigs The deer are in my back yard every day and this buck is the best that’s ever been here. My son had his gun laid by the table and had just left for school or he would’ve smoked him. I was drinking coffee and could’ve hammered him easily but big bucks no longer do anything for me.
