**2 Stalls Available July 1st**

One of our boarders is retiring and moving her horses home (congrats Shelly!!) which opens up 2 stalls July 1st!

Come join our family! We are a cozy 18 stall boarding/training facility hidden off a back country road directly on the border of WI and IL. We are located about 10 minutes from Lake Geneva, WI and 10 min from Richmond, IL. We have available:
- 12x12 stalls - option of heated or nonheated aisle
- Heated tack room
- 90x220 indoor arena
- 100x200 outdoor arena
- Trails all around 30 acre property
- Daily turnout in large grass pastures and limestone paddocks available if needed
- Feeding 3x daily, including a night check
- Completely customized feeding and care routine as needed
- Horses handled daily by highly experienced and dedicated team
- Complete a la carte care and huge variety of services available - anything from routine grooming to clipping and bathing to extensive wound care.
- Owner/trainer lives on premises
- Training and lessons available for ANY breed and any discipline with focus on core dressage principles and creating harmony between horse and rider. Experience with many different breeds and different levels of riders!

Another day in the life here at Silver Lining!

Lately we’ve been enjoying the last bits of summer by working horses out on the pasture lanes and trails.

Ava Bortin’s beautiful Leto sporting a pink ombré hat today on his Saturday afternoon hack indicating to us all that “tough geldings wear pink”.

This wonderful horse came to us severely misunderstood. Ava took a huge leap of faith in both he and I - faith that I could convince him to be a civil creature, and faith that he would be willing to become one!

The moral of the story? Take that leap of faith. Leto has become a complete treasure, is absolutely magical to ride, and grows sweeter and kinder each day. We can’t imagine life without him.

Take that leap of faith. Maybe, just maybe, things will end up better than you could even imagine. ❤️

ISO of a self motivated individual to clean stalls at a beautiful, relaxed and fun 18 stall semi-private horse farm located just 10 min from Lake Geneva WI in Hebron IL, right on the state line. Depending on the individual, responsibilities may extend to helping with feed, blanketing, turn out, and hay and waters. Pay is based on experience and how much you would like to do!

What a great time at the WAHA Fall Colors Show!!

HUGE congratulations to Anna Townsend who won three out of her four classes (including equitation, which we’ve been working HARD on!!) riding the beautiful, ever-steady Zeke (Hesagina).

Zeke then pulled through for another FIVE classes, pulling top ribbons in all and winning the championship class with Lauren LaCombe. What a treasure this horse is!!!

Another HUGE congratulations to Joelle Myers who stepped out of her comfort zone and tried showing in something a bit different. Joelle and her lovely pony Firefly have shown successfully in the hunter/jumper division for years but decided to come play in the open show world! They were steady and had four beautiful, consistent rides - accomplishing exactly the goal we had set!

Lastly, a thank you is in order to Linda Contant Hartley for getting us there safely and playing show mom (believe me, she is no stranger to that role!!) and of course to Micaela Howes for her hard work and dedication as show groom and for letting us go out and play with her very, very special horse Zeke.

We are all so excited for next year!
