Many of our medical supplies arrive in cardboard boxes, so it is important to us that we recycle cardboard. We also recycle cat food cans (which you can at home in Boone County as well— just be sure to rinse them out).

For Day 2 of our week of we’d like to mention this insulating fiber packaging that ships with our vaccines. We reuse it as urine-proof bedding. When our vaccines come in styrofoam coolers, we recycle those too. If you want one for fishing or picnics, just ask!

As much as we’re loving the warmer weather and fresh blooms the team at the Cat Vet of Hebron wants to remind everyone that lillies are extremely toxic for your cats. Keeping cut lillies in your home may pose a risk, as even drinking the water from the vase may hurt your cat’s health.
