Currently we have 22 kittens in care going through our medical process. As you can imagine this also means we are using up kitten food as fast we get it in. One of our fosters was out and about at Sharp Shopper in Wi******er and found two brands with a much reduced cost at $1 per pound and less.

If anyone is in the area and can pick some up for us we would much appreciate a stock up of it. We will be on Martin Street tomorrow for any drop off donations.

It's Surgery Day!

Today we have one cat heading to Promise Animal League.
Shes getting spayed and Rabies Vaccination ($80), Distemper Vaccine($15), combo tested($25), flea meds($10-$30)and Microchipped

And we also sent in 8 combos and 7 flea treatments which totaled to $430

Update on T’gger

After getting antibiotic and pain meds. We are currently at the vet with this sweetheart. His temp is low and gums are pale. As you can see in the picture he wasn’t doing so well. Unfortunately his prognosis wasn’t what we were hoping for and the vet recommended we humanely euthanize him. Our volunteer stayed with him during his final minutes loving on him.

Yesterdays visit at the emergency vet was $77

Todays visit at the vet

Thank you everyone who donated, because of you we were able to provide T’gger care up until this point. The extra donated will go towards the other cats in the rescue.

We have a huge group of cats heading to the vet today — 13 cats in total!

🐾 12 cats will be:
• Spayed or neutered
• Vaccinated (including rabies)
• Treated with Revolution
• Ear-tipped for identification

🐾 1 cat will be receiving a much-needed eye removal/enucleation.

This is a big and important trip for our TNR program — and we could really use your help covering the cost!

💲 Total Cost: $1,270
💰 Cost Breakdown:

• $250 — Eye removal/enucleation
• $60 each for 6 boys → $360
• $110 each for 6 girls → $660

These cats are part of our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, a humane and highly effective way to help manage and protect our local feral cat population.

12/1 Update: This kitty has been given the name T'gger and has been seen at the vet. He has been recommended for an urgent double eye removal and we have gotten pain meds and antibiotics to go home. We are having him seen at an additional vet in the morning as our emergency vet estimate was over $3,000. Total raised so far as of 4:00pm -- $347 (facebook donate button $52, paypal $70, and zeffy $225). We appreciate all the donations and love seeing our community come together to help this guy out. Our goal is to have this guy feeling better by tomorrow.

Found frozen and sick along a busy road, we are having this cutie rushed to the Emergency Vet.

As a newer rescue we have been slowly building for situations like this and we could not say no to this one.
