Since we began in August 2024 we have completed over 180 stray/TNR intakes and released 126 back to their colonies. As we look forward to the impact we are looking to make in 2026, building our supply of humane traps will be absolutely critical as we continue to accelerate our efforts to reduce breeding in our community.

**UPDATE Post**

Little whiskey is amazing us with his resilience. He was a very good boy yesterday for his vet appointment. Considering his taller stature and low comparative body weight he is a strong boy. Estimate to be less than 8 weeks old, he has the perfect temperment for a forever home. Whiskey loves dogs and people.

Currently he will be going through treatment for Upper Respiratory, Coccidia, and Roundworms. After he has completed treatment he will be scheduled for a neuter procedure and shots. We estimate him to be available to adopt sometime in February.

Total cost for his appointment was $171
Total raised $187

Remainder will be used towards his future medical bills (neuter plus shots/combo test).

***UPDATE***
We have named him Whiskey. We just got back from the vet and here is what we know. He has a bit of an URI which is suspected to be affecting his appetite. We have also sent out a f***l sample to rule out parasites. He did very well for his appointment and he is suspected to be less than 8 weeks despite his tall stature. Total for todays appointment including medicine to go home is $171....total raised between zeffy and facebook $151. We will be working towards increasing his weight and eventually finding him a forever home. His temperment is very friendly, loves cuddling (including dogs), and loves being a parrot.

We typically only do TNR intake, but an evening call has us springing into action.

**STRAY POST**

Good Samaritans contacted us regarding a young cat found alongside of a busy intersection. Poor thing was covered in yuckies and is just skin and bones. We have given him first line of defense treatments. We are looking to make an appointment in the morning, but we need your help raising funds for the unknown. We suspect that bloodwork and basics will be needed and will be upwards of $400 before neuter and shots.

🐾 GW – A brave, sweet soul who greets everyone with gentle purrs. He’s FIV+ but healthy, loving, and a total cuddle bug who just wants a cozy lap.

🐾 Jasmine – Playful, affectionate, and loyal. She loves exploring, cuddling, and greeting you at the door. A perfect balance of independent and loving.

🐾 Ham & Turkey – Sibling pair available together or separately. Sweet, playful, and ready for their next adventure.

🐾 Schatz – A tiny ball of energy with big personality! Loves playtime, sneak attacks, and nighttime cuddles (very close cuddles 😄). Best for an interactive home with older kids or another playful cat.

🐾 Callie – Super sweet, loves pets, enjoys attention, and absolutely loves Temptations treats. This girl is ready for her forever home.

🐾 Tomai – Once a stray, now a spoiled indoor kitty. Loves feather toys and other cats. Shy at first but very affectionate once comfortable. Does best with another cat friend.

🐾 Daisy – Goofy, playful, and loving once she warms up. Good with kids and full of energy. She was exposed to feline herpes (very common!) but can live a long, happy, symptom-free life.

🐾 Mickey – Happy-go-lucky, sweet, and easygoing. Loves attention, bird watching, zoomies, and even gets along with dogs! His past hasn’t slowed him down one bit.

Yesterday, two community cats went to the vet through our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, a humane and proven way to manage feral cat populations.

✨ Cat #1 received:
Neuter surgery, Rabies vaccine, Distemper vaccine, Combo test, Flea treatment, Microchip, and Additional medications

✨ Cat #2 received:
Spay surgery, Rabies vaccine, Distemper vaccine,Flea treatment,Microchip and Additional medications

These lifesaving procedures prevent future litters, improve health, and protect our community.
