We’re testing Gravy for potential diseases due to concerning health signs in the colony. Several issues are showing up, and we want to stay ahead of them with proper medical care. The goal is to get everyone healthy and strong for spay/neuter and ultimately, adoption.

💲💲 Update--Total visit cost $456 - Parvo test (negative), URI panel, clavamox, capstar, and lysine for the colony - total raised so far $150💲💲

You saw our post and the expenses have began.

Up first Gravy (in the back) with his sister (Sauce) who is along for the ride.

We are having Gravy tested for disease due to the health condition of the colony. We see several factors we are not liking and want to be prepared for them medically to get them healthy again and ready for spay/neuter.

Whats better than the 105+ cats we fixed in our first year? Fixing 40+ cats in the next 2 months! If we are successful this means that we will massively curb breeding at 6 locations.

In order to accomplish this feat we need YOUR help. Here is what we need:

💪💪We need fosters for both cats currently in our care as well as younger friendly kittens that are at the TNR locations we are currently preparing for appointments. We have 3 kittens currently in care recovering from parasites and have 10-15 kittens over 4 litters that will be 8-12 weeks by the time their mom has their appointments and they are ready to be separated from mom.

Today, 2 feral cats are heading to The Promise for their TNR appointments — that’s Trap-Neuter-Return for those just joining us! These cats won’t be named (since they’re not staying long), but they’re just as important. 💛

Breakdown of Costs:
🐾 Spay/Neuter + Rabies Vax: $150
🐾 Distemper Vax: $30
🐾 Microchips: $12
