Green boy and white boy doing what brothers do best.
One more video of Bronx. His big brother was at practice when he got to meet his sisters so we got to see his reaction too. He was on to mom and dad and knew there was a new puppy coming.
We are down four more feet today. Bronx, aka white boy, went home to be with his new family in Lincoln, NE! Andy made the trek solo and was able to surprise his sweet kiddos with their new puppy. Thank you, Lundstrom family for choosing one of our puppies. We know Bronx is going to get all the love and excercise he needs with your family.
One more! Champās first blow dry.
Pink girl went to her family today too! Another surprise for this family who has FIVE kiddos. As I was talking to Becky on the phone this morning and she was sharing why they were interested in one of our puppies, I told her that there was a reason we had another litter way sooner than what we were planning for and that I hadnāt realized it until she just shared with me what she shared. This has been one of the coolest parts of this journey. It has been a long, hard journey but itās families like this that remind me why we are doing this and why it is worth it.
The jury is still out on a name for her. Libby is in the running but itās not confirmed. She is going to be a 4H project for one of her boys. We canāt wait to see the two of them work and grow together.
Thanks, Becky, for choosing one of our puppies!
Busy day getting our first puppies ready to go to their new homes. These days are always bittersweet but the families that have adopted our puppies have ALL been families that we knew would provide great homes where they are loved and taken care of. Today was no exception. Champ, who you havenāt seen many pictures of because his family picked him out when he was just a few weeks old went home today. He is a first for their family. They have never had a dog and we are so honored they picked one of our puppies to be their first. This was a surprise for their four kiddos. Champ did awesome with his bath and even endured the blow drying!
Fun, embarrassing factā¦we switched the type of collars with this litter because the velcro ones we used last time wouldnāt stay on. The new kind we got were working pretty well until the last couple of weeks. I struggle to tell some of them apart. Thankfully Champ never lost his collar and Rylan knows each puppy like the back of her hand. That saved me Sunday when taking pics but today, when she wasnāt here, I was gathering Champ and who I thought was pink girl, without referring to any pics because I was in a hurry, and realized I grabbed the wrong girl. Yellow girl got a bath first and then I looked at pics and found pink girl. Thank goodness I never had identical twins, or triplets, or whatever you call 11 born at the same time!
Enjoy the videos of Champs new family meeting him for the first time. Iām glad they stuck with the name Champ because I may have kept calling him that since they mentioned that might be his name. Champers more often than Champ though! āŗļø
Rory learned how to play fetch! Our niece, Faith, loves Rory and spends a lot of time working with her. We are so proud of her and Rory!
These pups love their mama. Veda has been a rockstar from start to finish.
Puppy photography is hard work! All hands on deck. Pics would have been waaaay cuter with the kids in them. What was I thinking?
Feeding time
Feeding time. Veda has been a rock āļø mama. She has amazed us with how well she has done as well as keeping 13 puppies happy and healthy. The sight of 13 puppies is quite a site
