UPDATE: SHE HAS FOUND HER OWNER. Thank you everyone who shared!
This sweet girl was brought in by a good Samaritan with a broken femur! She was found by McHugh trailer court. We are currently keeping her comfortable with pain medications but are hoping to reunite her with her owner.

To all my dog sport friends (which I think includes almost all my FB friends 🀣) This is the latest from AKC in regards to what they have been doing regarding the CDC’s rule change for entering the US with a dog.

It is a lengthy read, but important info.

Meet Pete!
Pete is an owner surrender patient. He was not adjusting well to his home with a new baby. We have been getting to know him over the last week.
Pete is 14 years old, but you'd never know it! This guy is spunky, an expert biscuit-maker, and a purr machine! He will make a wonderful companion in a home without small children. He lived with dogs and cats in his previous home.
Pete does have a history of renal disease, but does great on his prescription diet. He had a perfectly normal blood panel on arrival.
If you are interested in meeting Pete in person, please call the clinic during normal clinic hours (406)-449-4455.

I am celebrating πŸ₯³

TWENTY years ago, I decided to take my career a different direction. I was a practicing Physical Therapist in the human hospital. Something just did not fit.
I had decided to go back, yet again, to school and became the FIRST PT in Montana certified to work with canines!
And I never looked back! There was about 4yrs of overlap, where my documentation would mix up β€œspouse” with β€œowner” πŸ€ͺ

I have the best job in the world! πŸ’–
To my 1000’s of patients I THANK YOU πŸ™ The sparkle in your eyes when you get to play AGAIN is worth more than words can express. ✨
To the DVMs who have trusted me to care for your patients-I am honored and humbled. Thank you πŸ™

Everybody, meet Dash!
Dash is an owner-surrender patient. He first presented at Apex in mid-April with two broken legs. He was surrendered a few weeks later when his owners were sure they would be unable to care for his injuries. Dash had two fracture repair surgeries and both his legs are well on their way to healing.
As much as we've grown to love Dash, it is time for him to find his permanent home. At only a year old, Dash still has plenty of life and love left to give. He can be selective of his friends at first, and a meet-and-greet (or two!) will be required before his new home is approved. Once he is comfortable he is the most happy, friendly little man. Dash gets along with cats, kids, and small dogs, but is selective of his large dog friends.
If you are interested in meeting Dash, please call the clinic during daytime business hours at (406)-449-4455.

This little guy was brought in by the sheriff on Sunday night after an altercation with a much larger dog. He suffered some profound injuries and had to undergo emergency abdominal surgery last night. He made it through surgery and is resting comfortably this morning, but he is not out of the woods yet.
The folks who initially had him in their yard reported he has been running loose in the neighborhood for a couple weeks. He is a young, intact male, and was found in the Green Meadow/Lincoln Road area. He appears well-cared for.
Please share. Bronson would love to be reunited with his family.

If you are missing this cat, please contact the clinic at (406)-449-4455.

REUNITED! Thanks everyone who shared!
Hello Helena,
We are once again asking for your help locating an owner. This big, goofy, fella was brought to us as a stray on Tuesday night. He had been running loose on a nearby ranch for about a week, but may have been missing from his home for longer. He is an intact, young adult male. He is a little on the thin side, but otherwise seems uninjured and in good spirits. We will be contacting the Humane Society about him today.

We are looking for the owner of a stray brought in by one of our staff. He appears to be older, and does have some health problems that we are treating him for. He was severely matted when he came in, so he may have been missing for some time. He got his pictures taken after we gave him a haircut. If you think you may know this guy, please call the clinic at (406)-449-4455.
