Meet Mashed Potatoes!
Mashers was brought in by a good Samaritan on Thanksgiving Eve. We think he is a middle-aged guy, and he has been neutered. He had some superficial wounds, which are well on their way to healing up.
If someone is missing this guy, please call the clinic and describe his distinctive tail marking to identify him.
If Mashed Potatoes' owner can't be found, he will be looking for a home. If you are interested in giving Mashed Potatoes a spot at your table, please call for an adoption application.

We'd like to introduce everyone in Facebook land to Bowser.
Bowser was a really sick guy and needed some pretty major surgery a few weeks back. The Apex team fixed him up and he pulled through surgery. We are happy to announce he has made a full recovery!
The staff here really loves this guy, but it's time for him to find his forever home. Bowser is 11 months old and all puppy all the time. He is a super sweet and goofy guy, he just needs someone to show him the ropes on how to be a well-adjusted, well-mannered boy.
Bowser is neutered and pexied, and will need one more round of vaccines in a couple weeks. If you are interested in setting up a meet and greet with this handsome fellow call the clinic during normal business hours at (406)-449-4455.

Have you ever wanted a miniature panther of your very own? You may be in luck!
Diana has been living at the clinic for a couple months now. We thought she had a home to go to, but those plans fell through. She is a young adult, spayed, and rabies vaccinated.
Diana is a pretty reserved cat. She takes a while to warm up, but once she does she is super sweet. She LOVES toys.
If you're interested in adopting Diana, please call the clinic for an application.

Update 10/12/24: Milo was reunited with his family! Thank you to everyone that made this possible.

This cute guy was brought into us as a stray. He is uninjured and looks well-cared for.
His tag says his name is Milo. Unfortunately, the phone number on the tag is no longer in service.
Someone is definitely missing this boy. If Milo is yours, please call the clinic and describe the stylish outfit he was wearing on arrival.

UPDATE: OWNER LOCATED
Hi everybody,
We have another injured stray. She was brought in during emergency hours last night after being attacked by two large dogs. The good Samaritan who brought her in found her on Villard Ave. She is wearing a collar (no tag), so we know someone misses her. We are keeping her comfortable, but would really like to find her people. Please share.

To all my dog sport friends (which I think includes almost all my FB friends 🀣) This is the latest from AKC in regards to what they have been doing regarding the CDC’s rule change for entering the US with a dog.

It is a lengthy read, but important info.

Meet Pete!
Pete is an owner surrender patient. He was not adjusting well to his home with a new baby. We have been getting to know him over the last week.
Pete is 14 years old, but you'd never know it! This guy is spunky, an expert biscuit-maker, and a purr machine! He will make a wonderful companion in a home without small children. He lived with dogs and cats in his previous home.
Pete does have a history of renal disease, but does great on his prescription diet. He had a perfectly normal blood panel on arrival.
If you are interested in meeting Pete in person, please call the clinic during normal clinic hours (406)-449-4455.

I am celebrating πŸ₯³

TWENTY years ago, I decided to take my career a different direction. I was a practicing Physical Therapist in the human hospital. Something just did not fit.
I had decided to go back, yet again, to school and became the FIRST PT in Montana certified to work with canines!
And I never looked back! There was about 4yrs of overlap, where my documentation would mix up β€œspouse” with β€œowner” πŸ€ͺ

I have the best job in the world! πŸ’–
To my 1000’s of patients I THANK YOU πŸ™ The sparkle in your eyes when you get to play AGAIN is worth more than words can express. ✨
To the DVMs who have trusted me to care for your patients-I am honored and humbled. Thank you πŸ™

Everybody, meet Dash!
Dash is an owner-surrender patient. He first presented at Apex in mid-April with two broken legs. He was surrendered a few weeks later when his owners were sure they would be unable to care for his injuries. Dash had two fracture repair surgeries and both his legs are well on their way to healing.
As much as we've grown to love Dash, it is time for him to find his permanent home. At only a year old, Dash still has plenty of life and love left to give. He can be selective of his friends at first, and a meet-and-greet (or two!) will be required before his new home is approved. Once he is comfortable he is the most happy, friendly little man. Dash gets along with cats, kids, and small dogs, but is selective of his large dog friends.
If you are interested in meeting Dash, please call the clinic during daytime business hours at (406)-449-4455.

This little guy was brought in by the sheriff on Sunday night after an altercation with a much larger dog. He suffered some profound injuries and had to undergo emergency abdominal surgery last night. He made it through surgery and is resting comfortably this morning, but he is not out of the woods yet.
The folks who initially had him in their yard reported he has been running loose in the neighborhood for a couple weeks. He is a young, intact male, and was found in the Green Meadow/Lincoln Road area. He appears well-cared for.
Please share. Bronson would love to be reunited with his family.
