Joe Cool (Annie/Bridger) is living up to his name!
"Joe Cool is killing it at the water fountain:) He’s graduating basic training and moving on to advanced and his Good Citizen award. He also aced Rattlesnake training for Arizona visits. He is amazing and getting quite big:) Thank you again!!"

Wilson (Olive/Milo) got back from the vet and sent us an update.
"My last dogs veterinarian just met Wilson for the first time today. She said she could tell that I had a really good breeder by both the way he was physically, healthy, mentally calm and just overall such a good dog. Just thought I’d pass that on. She was very complementary because she said the breeders have everything to do how your dog Starts out in life. And from now on, it’s up to me in my veterinarian helping me. But she knows me well and knows how well I take care of my dogs. So just so you know Wilson’s in good hands and he’s gonna have a great life."
We got an update from Roscoe (Echo/Bridger) and Leif (Gypsy/Dude) sent us an update from Colorado!
"Roscoe and Leif have become fast friends. They both love to play for hours. Leif has been a great big brother while Roscoe is definitely the annoying little one. He even gets along with our senior JRT. Roscoe is feisty and smart but also very sweet. The dogs are spoiled but we wouldn't have it any other way. We love our Border terriers! "
Sir Wilson (Olive/Milo) sitting at his perch and seems very much at home already. He's batting about 75-80% on potty training, which is amazing for his age and time in a new place. I bought him tons of toys but he prefers my ball caps. I have tons of them so glad he's enjoying teething on them. Thanks to you for giving me this little angel. He reminds me of my dog that recently passed (Nash, who always sat at the same perch). Wilson is loving, smart and fun to play with. My prayers were heard and I added 4,000 steps to my days! Thank you again."

Wilson (Olive/Milo) is quickly settling into his new digs in Missouri. He is not so sure about the humidity but got the chance to play with a big dog at a friends house and loved it.

"Hardy hit the eight pound mark this morning. He eats every meal like he's starving. He works it off chasing rabbits, crows, seagulls, and Robin's. Then he helps pull weeds."

"Just checking in to let you know that everything is going great. Dash is settling in to the Telluride life and enjoying many dog friends. He is a regular at my softball games and the new team mascot- Hobbs had that duty for many years. I also wanted to share with you the memorial plaque that will be placed in Town Park to honor our beloved animals in memory of Hobbs. The town is installing a new water fountain with a pet attachment and it will be mounted with the new fountain. Also, some new photos of Dash"

"Kismet has had a busy July! We'd been saving up our tricks and in the last few weeks she earned her AKC Vitual Home Manners Adult title along with the Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Trick Dog titles by submitting videos to an AKC evaluator. We filmed 10 behaviors related to being a good family member for the VHMA and a total of 30 unique tricks for the trick titles! We've had so much fun that we're already working on our Performer submission and I'm thinking about how to weave some of them together for the Elite Performer title. She is truly the best little dog!"
We got an update from Ammo, Amos and Hank.
"We have had so many baby birds in the yard this year! Ammo loves to watch them, Amos could care less, and Hanker likes to paw them lightly so they open their mouths. The boys are furry 4 legged hunters 🤣🤣"

"Whiskey just had her first birthday, and we wanted to provide a little update. She is doing well. Whiskey got a new sister at the end of February and she had adapted well to our new addition. She loves to give her kisses when they are both playing on the floor. Whiskey enjoys playing outside, to the point we have trouble getting her back inside. She is a pro at fetch, sitting, staying, shaking, laying down, and catch (her new favorite game.) She has a weak spot for peanut butter treats and loves snuggle time in the evenings."

"Thought you’d get a kick out of these photos. Leroy, Trixie and Ruckus sitting for a treat after going potty outside. Leroy doesn’t go outside but he’s learned that treats are given after the dogs go out to potty. So he sits & waits for his treat too 😸"

Kismet is a (Echo/Legend) puppy. Just wanted to send you another update on my favorite little brown dog! Early this morning we took a little road trip to Columbia, Missouri and Kismet earned the last leg of her NACSW ORT--exciting because this is her very first official title and my first title in scent work. She continues to do well in agility too. We would have been competing by now but unfortunately I injured my knee in July and wasn't able to run with her until the end of the year. Now that we're doing courses again she's become a little too sticky on the contacts but once we've trained through that I'm hoping that we'll earn some pre-novice and novice titles in 2024. We are so proud of Kismet's (Echo/Legend) progress! "Kismet's instructor filmed one of our runs this week to mark 5 months of training--sadly not the perfect run she had right before, LOL! Kis made a few mistakes like running to the camera person, checking out a barking dog and "thinking about" running back to the camera person after the A-frame, but she came back to work pretty quickly each time. She also initially turned the wrong way after the pink jump but she did this because on a previous run she was told to wrap around the right side of the jump instead of the left so she was remembering instead of watching me. Rookie mistake. Today's teeter was a huge agility milestone and the reason I wanted video! It was the first lesson we didn't have the instructor standing beside it to catch it and let it down silently rather than allowing it to bang a 2nd time. She does amazing contacts and is doing great with her weaves. She does them without guides most of the time. This course just happened to have them on. I love how she wags her tail on the contacts--so cute! She is also doing awesome with nose work, There is an ORT locally in May but I'm not sure she will be ready to trial quite yet but she will definitely be ready for the next one.
