Puppies went outside for the first time today! They loved it!

I'm a couple days late on the post but, puppies are five weeks old on Sunday!! I can't believe how big they are and it seems like it was just a couple days ago that they were born.

They are so playful and Hazel is loving having someone to play with. She is so gentle with them even when they think they are tough. Their little play growls are adorable. They are hard to get clear photos of when they are awake since they are always moving.

They chase each other around and have truly gotten the hang of food. Hazel is ready to be done with nursing but she is patiently letting them adjust. We had our first couple escap*es today as well so the gate has been updated to using the full gate height so they can't escape. It is apparently a big deal now too that there is no chance of escape again. 🤣

We have 4 males available now. Green, blue, orange, and red collar males are looking for their forever homes. These boys are so sweet and I'd love for you to meet them if you or anyone you know is interested. I am adding some descriptions of them under their pictures.

Happy 3rd birthday to this beautiful girl!!! She is so smart and adventurous. This year she learned she loves swimming and trying to tip over our kayaks when she decides she wants to get in. She has also mastered her buttons and understands a lot of English. She is such a good momma too. We love you Hazel and we are so thankful you came into our lives!!!!

Puppies are 4 weeks old today!!!!

They started puppy food yesterday and so far are loving it. The first bowl was gone in minutes. Hazel likes their bowl too so it's funny when they try to push her out of the way while she shows them how to eat and drink. I think she is anxious for them to eat on their own since four of the six already have teeth. We are doing pretty good with the potty pad training but still working on going in the right place when they first wake up.

They are loving playing with toys and we sometimes find one playing by themselves while the rest are sleeping. Curt gave them a button that says "who's a good puppy." They push it about fifty times a day so far even if they don't fully understand it yet. Hazel loves her buttons so we want them to start young.

They had their first visitors when a few friends stopped by this weekend. They loved the and Hazel was a proud puppy mommy. She even got a new stuffie from a new friend.

Pupdate: they are three weeks old already!!! They are so cute and love cuddling. Every time they see us, they come "running" as fast as their wobbly little steps can get them. They are definitely Hazel's puppies with how much they love attention.

They are starting to explore their new digs and a couple are already starting to sort of under the p*e pads. Hazel is somewhat helpful with that process so far. Here are some cute pictures I don't think I've already shared from this week.

The puppies have graduated to the Puppy Palace! They have the room to start exploring outside the puppy tent and some of Hazel's old toys to start playing with. They are a bit unsure of their freedom but with a couple starting to try to climb out of the pool, it was time. Hazel is loving it as the basement has always been one of her favorite places in the house. And no one is overheated anymore being upstairs including the puppies.

They also have their collars on for the first time. It is so cute watching them adjust.

They are just so cute and growing so fast!

Puppies are 2 weeks old! All their eyes are open and they are starting to stand up and walk with cute little stumbling steps. They tumble over a lot but it's adorable. I love seeing the little differences in each of them already from the ones that just get into food comas and sleep to the ones starting to explore more of their box and the ones always looking for someone to cuddle.

We have four males looking for their furever homes. Please let us know if you or someone you know are interested in a puppy. They will be ready for homes April 20-21.

Pupdate! We have three with eyes open and one close! They didn't want to sit still for pictures today. I promise some soon to see them individually. The other two were too sleepy to check their eyes. It's so exciting to watch them grow and start to explore their world. They are eating a lot more and so is Hazel to keep up.

Cuteness update. They are getting so big! We think another day or two and their eyes will open. Their little purr like growls in their sleep are so cute too. This is such a fun adventure! They are snuggly and demanding when they are hungry but Hazel jumps and runs to them when they make noise.

Puppies are one week old already! They are getting so chubby which is so adorable. 😍 It has been a long, tiring week. Hazel is such a good Mama and very in tune to their needs. We have learned so much and are ready to see what this next week brings!

I'm calling them F2 English golden doodles. Mom is a golden doodle and dad is an English doodle (English cream retriever and poodle). They will be ready for homes the weekend of April 20-21. Pupdate: we ended up losing two (different causes) on Monday which was rough. But the remaining six are doing great and growing so much already! They are getting quite chubby. Hazel is such a good Mama and being the smoochy poochy means very clean puppies much to their dismay as they groan while she bathes them. Haha. She is back to her normal energy which makes it a bit hard to lay around all day but she is enjoying having me working from home this week. Here are a couple pictures from this week.

Hazel's first litter is here! 8 puppies. We are pretty sure 5 boys and 3 girls but will be able to tell better after the umbilical cords fall off and will double check then. They are quite squirmy and vocal. Hazel did really well and is rightfully tired. A little over 4 hours from first to last.

Hello, we want to introduce ourselves. We are Curt, Jennifer, and Hazel. We live in Montana where we hike, hunt, garden, and almost everything you can do outside. We adopted Hazel in May of 2021 and she has made every day better since. She is smart, sweet, loves cold/snow, and a complete love bug.
