Besides an unexpected snow storm that brought us cold temps and 18 inches of snow, we also had an emergency spay for Breeze. She is staying warm and recovering well and has ended her days as a mama. Once it warms up she can get back to hunting and having fun with Lou, Midge, and Zeeke.

This sums up our season- Montana got an early season dump of snow that hasn’t left. The dogs dog the snow but can’t tolerate too much time in negative temps.

We’ve got a great tree hunting dog in the family🎄 Zeeke got his first tree today and learned how to pick a good one from Midge and Breeze. Oh what fun three dogs bring to our family 🐾

These cold days might be hard to keep your pups busy. ❄️ Frequent trips outside and obedience training in the house will go far!

Zeeke likes to play games and get pets when he is feeling bored. The older pups just like to be by the fire and be cozy all day. Each dog has their own needs and it doesn’t take a lot of time to connect when it’s cold.

I hope we get some warmer days soon and that you all are keeping warm this season.

Traveling over the holidays with a Griff, or three, might feel like you’re onvv be the road with the circus. If you find new areas to give them a walk or break from the kennel, it will make all the difference in your adventures.

We’re thankful for our new dude, Zeeke, and all that each dog brings into our family.

Han Solo and his sidekick, Chewy, both got to visit friends and get some treats.
We’re having perfect Fall weather in Helena and enjoyed the time out in town tonight. Zeeke thought it was fun that so many people were out walking with him 🐾

First snow for Zeeke and he went wild playing outside! The other dogs are pretty thrilled once the snow flies too and learn to adapt quickly. Hope this doesn’t impact hunting season too much.

Zeeke adapted to all of our adventures this summer and is training for more this fall. Wish summer could last longer (or start sooner) but we’re all excited to see the change in scenery and beautiful parts of our state.

Zeeke has a bright future as a river guide. Hoping he gets some more time in floating and can join us on our trips. Water was fun to watch and swim in and tired him out a bit. 🐾
