🌹 A huge thank you to Rose! 🌹

Our kitties are lounging in style thanks to Rose, who has lovingly made HUNDREDS of hammocks to keep them comfortable while they wait for adoption. At least if they have to be in a kennel, they can be cozy and relaxed — and as you can see, the cats approve! 🩷

Rose uses donated pillowcases and fabrics to create these hammocks (and kennel mats), so if you have any gently used pillowcases or extra fabric you no longer need, feel free to drop them off (101 E Florida, Hemet). We’ll pass them along to her so she can keep making more of these lifesaving little comforts. 💕

🐾 Wish List Wednesday! 🐾

This week, ARE Animal Rescue is asking for paper towels! Any brand, any amount — every roll helps.

With 300+ kitties in our care at any given time, we go through tons of paper towels every day. To prevent cross-contamination, we cannot use rags or washcloths to clean their kennels, so paper towels are truly invaluable to us.

Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Danny!

He's a happy and playful guy with lots of puppy energy, so ideally he would love to have a yard to run and play in. He came in with a few siblings so he’s used to being around other pups. Danny is at that perfect age to join a family and grow with them. He knows some basic commands and can benefit from continued training to grow up to be the best adult pup that he can be.

Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Spirit!

Spirit was surrendered to ARE Animal Rescue just a few months ago with an injury to her back side that left her partially paralyzed. The sweet girl is full of love and just wants someone to love her and take care of her. She’s a typical kitten who wants to play and loves to be pet. Since she is partially paralyzed, she needs to wear diapers and get regular baths to keep her clean, but she doesn’t mind her diaper or bath time which makes the process a bit easier!

💠 Five wonderful cats are waiting at our 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞/𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐨 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 (2828 Campus Pkwy) for their forever families, and each one is just as special as the next. 🐾 They’re all spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, so they’re ready to go home the moment they find their match.

🐈‍⬛🐈 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒆 & 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒆 are the best of friends! They are super playful, energetic, and sweet. They are not related, and don’t need to be adopted together necessarily, but each would do best in a home with another playmate.

🐈 𝑷𝒆𝒃𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔 is a lovable sweetheart. She is a calm girl that enjoys being petted and would be happy as the only kitty in a home. Although she doesn’t mind other cats, she is more comfortable getting all the attention.

🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ 𝒀𝒖𝒂 & 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒊 are a bonded brother & sister who need to be adopted together. This is such a great way to adopt two cats who you know will get along! They came to us 3 years ago at 5 months old, and it is a mystery to us why they haven’t been adopted yet! They are a great pair of kitties!
