Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Pal!

Pal is a wonderful, toy loving, energetic ball of fun! He always has to have a toy (or bowl) in his mouth. He isn't protective over his toys and loves to play fetch. Pal has had kennel mates (who are his own size) at ARE Animal Rescue and has done well with them. He’s far more interested in his toys than anyone else!

He got his name for a reason, he really wants to be your buddy! Pal is up for whatever, whenever. As long as he's got his friend (and a couple of toys) he's good to go. After two years with ARE Animal Rescue, he's desperate to find out who his next best friend is! If it's you, please reach out to the rescue to set up a meet 'n' greet!

Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Chuck, aka "Churu Charlie"!

This handsome guy is super snuggly and loving, and on the quiet side. Chuck is affectionately known as "Churu Charlie." He got his nickname because he loves his Churu treats! He's one of ARE Animal Rescue's special needs fur babies. It's thought that Chuck may have been attacked by a dog and as a result, he has trouble relieving his bladder on his own. He will need a very special human who is willing to express his bladder regularly. That’s where his nickname comes in. Chuck’s cooperation doesn’t come cheap. He needs his special Churu treats for payment!

😻 8 wonderful, adoptable kitties have arrived at the Fontana PetSmart at 15042 Summit Ave! They are dreaming of their forever homes, so come on by to see which one (or two) will be the perfect additions to your family.

All our kitties are neutered/spayed (fixed), microchipped with a lifetime registration, up to date on vaccinations, litter box trained and deflead/dewormed. All they need is a family to all their own. πŸˆπŸˆβ€β¬›

You can see them through the Adoption Center windows anytime PetSmart is open, but it's way better to go inside and meet them! Just fill out an adoption form in advance at www.arerescue.org/adopt. Once approved, we will schedule you a time to go inside the cattery to meet (and hopefully adopt) one (or more) of them. For the health of our kitties, only approved adopters can go inside the cattery.

ARE Animal Rescue's β€œWags for a Week” program is a chance for our shelter dogs to get out of the shelter for a week and hang out with you. With your help they will have a better chance at being adopted because they will get to de-stress, play, and socialize. You will be able to give us valuable information on their personalities and habits that will help us find the right adopter.

Benefits to YOU:
1) You can enjoy the company of a dog for a week if you’re not currently able to make a long term commitment.
2) If you are looking to adopt, this is a chance to interact with a dog and see how he or she fits into your household.
3) You will know that you played a crucial role in helping the dog have a wonderful future.
