❤️ Looking for Love? Meet Cheesecake! 🍰🐶

This sweet 1+ year old boy is ready to be your Valentine—not just for a day, but forever!

Cheesecake is seeking a small loan of all of your love and devotion that he will pay back (with high interest) once he's adjusted to being in a home. He came to us with four siblings and none of them appeared to have had a great start in life. 😢 As a result, Cheesecake will take a little more time to learn how to be a dog. Currently, his biggest challenges are: the leash, and walks in general, make him a little nervous; he needs potty training work; and he loves to talk.

However, Cheesecake also loves to meet new people, has a ton of energy, loves to play, loves to be pet and brushed, is comfortable in a crate, and does well in the car. If you're willing to help Cheesecake become the most wonderful dog he can be, he'll pay you back in a lifetime of loyalty and kisses!

💕 Meet Cheerio! This precious 4-year, 8-month old guy loves to cuddle and head butt his human! He is partially blind due to corneal scarring in his eyes when he was a baby, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life! Cheerio currently shares his love and attention with our staff and volunteers, so he's very comfortable with people. No concerns with other cats either, he's the calm one of the bunch. 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Shake!

This sweet and playful cat is ready to wiggle her way into your heart! Shake is a friendly girl who adores people and gets along wonderfully with other cats. She has a love for playtime but is just as happy to snuggle up with her favorite humans.

Shake does have a medical condition that could lead to seizures, but with the right care, she’s living her best life and can bring so much joy to the right home. ❤️ Sweet, sweet Atticus is patiently waiting for his forever. Even though he has been with us for a year and a half, he never gives up hope! He's been very anxious while at the shelter, but knows his people are out there waiting to meet him!

🐾 Atticus is very easy going, even with our most rambunctious dogs, and does well with almost every person he meets. At about 6 years young, he's looking for a family (or person) willing to give him some light exercise and a whole lot of nap time.

Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Valentina!

Sweet Valentina came to ARE Animal Rescue with three puppies in tow. She's ready to be with a family who will allow her to be the center of attention! She has had kennelmates and does do well with other dogs her size, both male and female. She is very shy at first, but is a super-snuggler once she warms up to you! All it takes is a few treats and a soft voice and she's ready to be your best friend.

Miss Valentina does need a home where she'll be given time to decompress after her time in the shelter. Due to her shy nature, she needs a family who will be patient. Valentina is a wonderful pup and would make a great addition to your family! Please reach out to ARE Animal Rescue if you can be Valentina's forever.

Looking for a new forever friend? Meet Otter!

She's a beautiful girl with a big heart and lots of love to give, but you have to earn her trust. This shy and timid pup is very nervous and cautious, but underneath her scared exterior is the heart of a sweet dog yearning for love, but not sure how to get it.

Otter thrives in the company of other dogs who can teach her how to be confident. Otter would do best with a patient compassionate family looking to take on a dog who needs lots of TIME. Otter dreams of the day she can truly relax knowing she is safe and loved.

This handsome guy is friendly and likes cuddles, but is also independent. Egg Foo isn’t your typical Siamese kitty. He doesn’t talk all the time like you’d expect from a Siamese. He also has the most adorable scratchy meow!

Meet the 6 kitties now at the Riverside/Moreno Valley PetSmart - Prince, Pepper, Pixie, Daisy, Theo & Sammie! They would love to join your family! 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

🐾 You can stop by anytime to see them through the windows, but it's way better to get to play and cuddle with them! To do that, just fill out an adoption form in advance (no obligation to adopt if they don't steal your heart). Once approved we will set up a personal meet & greet for you to actually go inside the cattery to meet them, hold them, and play with them.
