4 years ago today we sold this mare to and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Horse update!

“Ice” was one of my first school horses, the very first polo school I taught she taught right alongside me. She was given to me because she was a hard keeper and old. We feed her a special diet and she always looked great.

Ice was BPP and School horse of the year multiple times. Always a favorite for lessons and coaching chukkers with all my clients. She was in her late 20s when I retired her to a trusted friend. She has cared for Ice better than I could have imagined through the golden years. Many people would not have done this. I’m forever grateful to you Lynn.

Ice carries the Jimmy Newman brand, has played across the country for multiple players at multiple levels, and taught polo school well past her prime. If there is ever a school horse hall of fame, I hope her picture hangs in it.

Merry Christmas from our barn to yours!

Our horses are turned out and so are we! This is our favorite time of year. We get to spend time with family and friends that we normally don't get to see. Our horses work hard for us during the year and deserve this time to just be horses.

Horse update!

I’ve shared her in our stories but Dice is thriving in her Hunter pony job. For those of you that missed her story, she was our rescue from a few years ago.

From auction dump to hunter pony princess. She was pretty small to be a polo pony and desperately wanted her own person. So, off to hunter land she went.

Thanks for preparing her for her very own kid! Time for the next one.

National Day of the Horse

There are always special ones. They make you a better player, or they are out of your favorite mare, maybe they are the biggest goof in the barn. Those horses are talked about long after they are gone. Games are not solely won on those, students don’t get into polo on just those, and we certainly can’t make a living with just those. Today is for all of them. ❤️

Some of these were with us for short times, some are heart horses, and some are no longer with us. Love them all.

Sweet Dee almost became a member of our string as she fit right in but someone bought her before I could! Just in time for the holidays. New seller and new buyer for us and I can’t wait to work with both of them again.

All of the horses are turned out for the holiday break right now but we have a great group of sale horses. DM us to try them this winter.

I was so sad to see this one go! It was always a bucket list to have a mustang. She was so cool and taught me a ton. They are different from the other horses and I loved that about her. Good luck sweet girl, hope to see you out in the polo field again soon!

We take on select consignment horses each season and find them their perfect match. Have a young horse that you want to have trained for polo?
